It's gotten better definitely. I'm still a bit unsure, but I like the general direction. I thought it was a fine chapter. It moved the plot along without growing dull. It felt a bit rushed, but I can feel your anticipation for the climax.

Stop doubting yourself Emily....you write very well. This chapter was no exception. I LOVED that Harry is training the Slytherin kids he despised the way he did the D.A. when he was in school. I also love the fact that he honored Calixa's and everyone else's request for a special designed Dark Mark....Calixa cracked me up, making requests like that. I LOVED that Draco said fuck it and punched Harry to defend Hermione. I forgot he could even do something like that. We all know that Draco doesn't want to go with Hermione because he wants to feel Harry's wrath : ) Can't wait until the final conflict! I hope you're planning a sequel....

Sooo need chapter 29!!!

This is turning out to be kind of sad. I don't want to see Harry die, and I really don't want to see him and Draco yanked apart so soon. Well keep up the fantastic work.

Oh man, two new chapters...I was wondering when you were going to update! I'll review them one by one. i don't think that "The Others" is too dialogue driven...you got to the point. That's why I'm frankly enjoying this story. It really packs a punch without a lot of bullshit : ) I like prose as much as the next person, but you're really talented at not using too much.

Anyway, this new development is quite interesting with the Slytherin kids he hates so much and has been unfair to actually absorbing his protection. The irony is great, especially when we know that Harry was supposed to be in Slytherin anyway : ) I LOVED how he referred to Draco as his partner and not his slave, even though we both know that Draco loves being one to him....still want to smack Calixa down, but maybe now the bitch will see the light once Harry explains things...speaking of which, where the hell are you going with Harry wanting to be Voldemort? I'm assuming he wants to replace him as a Dark Lord but a good Dark Lord? whatever that could possibly mean...another good chapter : )
