I love the angst you've layered into these new updates. Both Hermione and Lucius have been "fleshed out" if you will. Of course, he was pretty compelling from your opening gambit, but now it's even more so. The feeling of suspense that Hermione feels at not knowing when or where or how Lucius is going to contact her is palpable. I felt it in my solar plexus when he finally appeared, grabbing her and covering her mouth. Given that he has been afflicted with HIV, as of the last chapter, do you have plans for him to descend into full blown AIDS and still have a romantic, angst-laden, relationship with Hermione?

This chapter was great. I hope that Hermione will try and find a cure for Lucius while helping him write his book. I think that would be something that may make him want to live, even if he thinks thathis family is better off without him. With this connection that he and Hermione have because of the oath, I think they would make a wonderful couple. I can't wait to read more soon.

Uuuuhh... wow! I am really sorry I did not review for each chapter, but - hey!! - it is a compliment because I was too absorbed in it and didn't want to interrupt reading ;o)!

I'm always looking for well-written and convincing LMGH stories, but they are quite rare and hard to find, or maybe I am just unable to find them ;o).
Loved it so far. The HIV part is disturbing, really. Interesting idea, though. I'm curious as to where this is leading.
And I didn't get one part about it: How exactly did he catch it? Did they make some kind of sick human experiments with the prisoners? English is not my mother tongue, so I don't understand everything, though I am always trying to improve it :o). And by the way, I can apologise for my grammar mistakes as well, don't be too hard on them, will you? ;o)

Best regards from germany...

Chapter 5: I love this premise, having the two main characters linked through their thoughts, one desperate to have more, the other evading it for all she

I don't hate you for this. If anything, it only makes this more poignant. I will assume nothing though as you have requested. But I must say that Hermione is known for working nothing short of miracles, and that is more than one way to save a life, and I don't necessarily mean curing Lucius physically. I can't wait to read more, more now than ever, and I really hope you update again soon!

Lucius with HIV...I shouldn't find this amusing but yet I do. It seems almost appropriate that such a gorgeous guy who has been on the wrong side of a war, been to prison, and did a whole bunch of immoral things should get a muggle disease that has to do with the transfer of blood. It's almost ironic. I don't really understand how he got it though, HIV can be passed through intercourse and tainted needles. So unless he was sharing needles, that would mean he got it through sex, but I don't see how he could be having sex in Azkaban. Maybe I am reading into this too much. LOL.
I like how there are scents defining Lucius' dreams that is very interesting. And why apples for Hermione? The only connotation I can think there is Adam and Eve, but that doesn't really make any sense.

wow.....the warning was well done, as was the chapter.
Does give Lucius a new perspective on life though.

looking forward for chp 6 and two weeks of vacation!
