I love that picture!!! It's beautiful.
Chapter 9 was really very good! I keep hoping that some miracle will come through and save Lucius. I really don't want to see him die. When I'm not writing, I am a health care worker. I know the hard cold realities of AIDS. Seen it first hand. Might I beg ONE small favor?
I cannot see Lucius DIE this way. My heart will just break. Is there any way... if it comes to that, PLEASE don't put a death scene in. (I know you are nowhere near that point yet.) Just worrying myself into a stupor!

Wow what a great chappie! I had started to think you had abandoned it...but I'm glad you haven't..I have one question....will Hermione and Lucius ever 'Get busy'? I know he has HIV but there are ways for a couple to have it off and not infect an uninfected partner...I can imagine Lucius would rock Hermione's world...more ways than he has already!.....he he.

I cant get enough of this story, it is so thought provoking and mind boggeling that it knocks me for six every chapter.

Very interesting take on Lucius. Giving him HIV is more than a little depressing. I love the way you don't make him the amoral bastard without giving the backstory for his anger and cruelty. Great job capturing the emotional neglect of his childhood and the trauma that is the start of his emotional disintegration. It was well thought out and poignant. I like your Hermione too. She's too complex and intelligent for Ron. I like her with Snape or Lucius, and since Snape has been sent to the otherworld, I guess we're left with Lucius.

Oh, wow. I don't review much (especially not solely for ego-boosting), but I have to tell you this is THE BEST Lucius/Hermione story I have ever read. The reason I love reading stories with non-canon pairings is because I feel only an amazing author can show how two characters, dichotomously unlike, grow to respect each other. And then I read pure smut...
But anyways, I am so jealous of your literary skills. You've captured Hermione's character and logically shown how and why Lucius has changed. Please, please, please don't abandon this story!!

I am really enjoying this story. I will admit I was kind of put off when Lucius admitted to having HIV. Not exactly a story conclusive to a romance, BUT you're doing a great job. I don't get a chance to read fan fiction very often anymore since I'm writing constantly for my editor, but I was glad to get to sit back and read this one. I'll try to keep checking back every so often to see how the story progresses.
