Loved it! The first paragraph or two scared me, the next were exactly what you had fortold (with all the aggravation that goes with Ron), the rest were wonderful as usual. I love the relationship you have built up between Lucius and Hermione. I'm so happy! Giggle, LOL, and smiling for all I'm worth!
It has been a horrible day, but you have managed, yet again, to raise my spirits to the point that I think I can get through the rest of the night until the doctor tomorrow.
But, I really am not a good reviewer, (LOL from you, I'm sure that was a good thing) :-) you deserve much more insight and acknowledgement for the intricacies of what you are writing, just know I do appreciate them, even if I don't mention them.
Writing is such a piece of art, whether here or somewhere else and you are very good at it. As I said, I look forward to you doing it professionally, but I (as the rest of your fans) always look forward to you doing it here.
Thanks so much!

Ron is an idiot. I hate to say it, but he is. He's a nice idiot, but an idiot nonetheless. How could JKR have thought those two would be good together?
I loved the bit with Sinistra. She made her point and did it well. Hermione was lucky to have her to talk to. I'm now wondering who her wife is and what their story is.
Lucius' reaction to Hermione leaving was incredibly difficult to read. How could he think she would just leave him? He means too much to her for her to ever want to leave. I suppose, based on his past, that would be the only thing he could think. I liked that the discovered she would be returning through Crookshanks. That was a nice touch.
Musca, huh? It fits.

Chapter 19: Lucius in a gray, pin-striped suit. That was what the original Lucius Malfoy was supposed to wear in the movies, along with short, gray hair. He was supposed to look like a businessman

Even more excellent!!!!!!!
I am such a horrible reviewer! As a scientist, I never seem to be able to give the glowing reviews that you deserve, I get too technical. I'll try to change that somewhat.
I love this story and all of your stories!!! :-) You write with such ability that of course I think of them as "real people" you make them real to all of us and capture us in their lives, loves, heartaches, and dreams. I think of Lucius and Hermione as friends that I would encourage to pursue the best in themselves not only in career, family and friends, but whatever else really makes them happy, as I would encourage you after graduate school to write novels! You will be very successful of course and I hope will keep us all updated with you progress and where to buy your books!
But, back to the story! The sex, the teasing, the dancing, the play, the realization that I think came to both of them pratically made me cry. Hermione's decision to change her life, break up with Ron and what ever else is necessary to finally have some joy and purpose besides getting over the war and her past was wonderful. She gave herself some safe time after all she had been through, but she is a very young woman with a lot of time ahead of her and she should be working and living a life that she is passionate about, not just settled with. :) (She is becoming more passionate with every day, loving that).
Lucius buying and wearing muggle clothes, knowing he is still gorgeous no matter what, his ability to let go and flirt, dance, tease, play, his desire and love for his witch becoming enough to let her go, is where I really teared up. The sexy and great sex part of Lucius, of course we all dream of, but that's why we have you, so we can experience it through your story if nowhere else. LOL
Great story, thanks for including us!!!!!

The imagery you give them and their relationship makes my heart clench. I can feel just how hard this is for Hermione. I love it.
