Ooh, I was right. Anyway, that was a lovely wedding, and I really do like that Hermione changed obey to cherish. My husband keeps teasing me about obey, but it wasn't in our ceremony. Now I can look forward to their wedding night. Very nice.

Why do I find a man jerking off so hot ?
Probably because you wrote it
and because it's Lucius..
Great chapter!

I read and reviewed earlier... and my browser decided it wanted to play with the fairies and promptly crashed! I just looked and it didn't post. *sulk*
*prances around like a peacock* I'm a RAVISHING reviewer. *preens*
Its just a coincidence then, you've always had a chapter up every Sunday after I finish work! I thought you had a schedule! Though, glad to know there's no problems!
Can we have coloured lacy knickers? Maybe even with embroidered flowers on them? please?
Church? Oooh, is Lucius going to do the right thing? Ah, evidently not. He's doing it to get into her multicoloured knickers!
you know, the whole "Of course I love her, she's my wife" thing is rather reminiscent of Princess Dianna and Prince Charles, they were interviewed before their wedding, and Dianna said she loved him, and he said it hadn't come to that. Dianna looked so crestfallen.
He's rather good at quashing her fears, though his arguments still scream of a marriage of convenience - or more accurately a marriage because there isn't anyone else. Its like an 'if you're not married by 30, I'll have you'.
I am caveman, hear me roar. I'll go kill a mammoth for my petite little cavewomen, and then we'll have caveman sex because I'm all grr. lol.
I really LOVE the puddle reference.
And if all else fails... snog her senseless.
Though, every girl dreams of the big wedding, the dress, the flowers... she gets a late night, no pretty dress and two random people as witnesses.
The speed of the wedding... sounds a smidge shotgun that does. I bet the vicar wasn't just worrying about the 'Lord of the Manor' thing, but is the young lady's chastity (and condition) in question?
SPARKLES! PRETTY SPARKLES! PRETTY SPARKLES! EXPENSIVE SPARKLES!
The wizards don't like people re-saying their vows or re-committing? Or is that too modern?
Food and the wedding night... though I have a feeling that the veil might have re-attached a certain little bit of membrane for Hermione.

Squee! I love weddings! I think this one was so romantic too. The way Lucius just whisked Hermione away made my heart go pitter pat. He had everything planned too, with a special license and rings. *swoon*

Okay. I know I owe you like 25 reviews. I am so far behind! It's been a rough couple weeks. O_o
This is what I can give you now. The Veil as a giant, sentient time-turner...a very interesting concept, but one that kind of makes my head explode. If Lucius & Hermione have been somehow woven into this timeline...and are now married and will forseeably have to reproduce to carry on the Malfoy line...then are the Malfoys of the present ever truly Purebloods? It would be quite ironic if that was the case. And, will the two of them ever exist in their own time? If they succeed in changing history, too many things will change. So will they live out their years together in this time, never to see their own again (but content because they have each other?). A selfish part of me wants them to be recognized as saviors, especially Lucius - though if the New Wave Master never rose, people wouldn't know they'd been saved from everything. Argh! Time travel always confuses me, so these ideas may be completely out of left field. However, it would make a lot of sense in terms of why our heroes keep gaining knowledge and finding that the world is arranging itself for them. It's almost allowing them to write their own story, what with the many choices of where they come from (Canada, Jamaica, Barbados?).
More rumination about the Veil...I think you mentioned that perhaps the Ministry was built around IT, rather than IT being brought to the Ministry. I like this idea. Maybe it is some kind of core of magic and the Ministry was built there to protect it? Not that it evidently needs protecting. In reality, it might be there to protect wizardkind, which is what it is trying to do through Lucius and Hermione. They are both resisting it, but really, it's giving them everything they ever wanted. Lucius has a wife and all his power and prestige back (as well as a chance to protect his world from the encroachment of muggles), and Hermione has a husband, someone to reawaken her sexually, lots of mysteries and thinking to keep her busy, and a chance to erase a war or two and prevent prejudice against her own kind. I wonder, though, if at some point Veil will ask something of them that they don't want.
Of all the places Lucius could have taken her, I didn't expect it to be to a church to get married. I guess I'm dense this week and didn't catch on to that hint. Now all Hermione's objections really are dashed. I'm looking forward to some toe-curling smut in the next chapter or two.
As always, LaBib, excellent stuff. I'm going to try really hard to keep up and review every chapter, but I can't make any promises. Life is a bit shiteous right now. Know that your great storyline and your thoughtful reviews for HTC are helping me to cheer up and think coherently! :) Now if only I could apply such things to my schoolwork...ah well, we can't have everything!
Looking forward to the marriage bed and the (eventual) answers to all my questions. :)

I finally took a chance on this fic and I'm glad. Two of my favourite themes in one. Brilliant. I love how you appear to effortlessly weave the story. There is still a strong sense of mystery, so far, yet it makes believeable sense. I have enjoyed catching up over these past few days. I look forward to reading more as you have time. Bless!
