So, your German ain'tthat bad. At least the words were right and the word order was also ok.
This chapter was really interesting. I mean I thought about some of the questions you have answered now.
But I still am asking myself about the real heir, of if the Veil really made Lucius the heir of the Malfoy fortune. I mean, you wrote that Lucius remembers a break in his family during the time he and Hermione are now.
And I hope that you have a good solution for that.
Can't wait for the next chapter.
Have a nice day/week and enjoy life.^^

Ok, so I have a LOT to say about this chapter LOL, first off, I hope I didn't offend you in my last review. I'm not saying that I didn't enjoy The Wedding, just that I was a bit shocked and believe me, it is NOT easy to shock me LOL.
So Lucius and Hermione finally got to visit the illustrious Veil? And the fact that it can influence their emotions is a surprising twist. I like the fact that Lucius has vocalised his fears to Hermione and visa versa, its hard to see Lucius as feeling vulnerable but it is entirely believable in the scope of your story.

New leaf or not, the old Lucius does indeed shine through. It was good to see them communicating, even if it was the Veils influence. I

I got so engrossed in the story that I forgot to do a seperat window. Beautiful isn't even the best word to describe what I felt about their talk. They semed to have touched on everything that was bothering them about each other. Lucius' fear shouldn't have surprised me, but it did. You write him so confident and autocratic, that it gives him a little depth and makes me want to hug him. Alot. For a long, long, long time, and with our clothes... Okay you get the picture.
I'm intrigued that Lucius seems to value Hermione's mind over her physical attributes. I know he certainly appreciates her beauty, but the mind is what he's drawn to with her, I think.
The veil has a rumbling laugh. Hmmmm... I'm not going to speculate but I'm thinking.

I'm glad they had that whole conversation even if it was guided by the Veil. And I love that she was willing to distract him with some kink. That was funny. And she now knows that he admires her feisty self. I can't decide if I want to read about the sex or about the prophecy. It seems that they are discovering each other as well as all the rest of the machinations of time. So, they want to help the Squibs, that is really going to be interesting.

No, I liked this chapter like this, I'm glad you didn't cut it in two. I'm pleased that they've both cleared the air. I was just waiting for someone to walk in on them when Hermione opened the door to where she used to work...just waiting for them to get caught with their hands in the cookie jar...lol.

Oh wow, what a chapter! First of all, the sex scene was utterly, mercilessly exquisite; I was crouched over the screen, salivating away, when Hermione says, "That was an excellent shag". Lolololol, sooooo funny. I like the idea of her being afraid to get too lost in the emotional side of the physical bond - I can imagine she would be just like that. Lucius will bring her round, I'm sure.
And then the Prophecy. How very interesting! What is this weakness that they must embrace? Will they maybe find an ancestor of Tom Riddle's hanging around the Regency precincts?
Well, I'm on to the next chapter.

That was a totally unexpected chapter! I love the image of a frustrated Lucius rolling up at his bordello to take his tensions out on an obliging woman or two. Can they really all enjoy it? I wonder if any of these women might be the 'weak' that they are meant to embrace??
Well, Hermione's in for a spot of education now *can't wait* Heh, heh.
