I can't believe I am saying this.. but I am on the fence on whether or not I want a lemon or not!!! Oh my what is the world coming to?!?! :) I want a lemon for these two, but I want to know what is going on just as much. I think it is do for a lemon though.. we can rest our brains from trying to figure all of this out.

I'll be keeping all future guesses to myself ... disenfranchisement indeed!

Hehe, I don't envu Hermione a bit. Sitting there, having to listen to all those Purebloods gossping... oh, my... I do feel sorry for her. I'm glad she got something out of it... Hm.. I wonder what those LOANS are... perhaps the old Malfoy was helping the Squibs... or perhaps he "took care" of them... I don't know what I shall think. I still think Squibs are important (since they keep comming up in your story, I guess there are important in some way...). Hehe, if it aren't a Squib, then perhaps it is a house-elf who is the Master. He or she wants avange for what the wizards had done. I could totally see that happen. I mean, Dobby could probably have done something nasty if he got enough. Thankfully, Harry was there to save him but... perhaps there is another house-elf who wasn't so lucky. Haha.... well... I don't think it is a house-elf, but anyway.
Hm... I start to think about the old Malfoys sons again... what if one of them was a Squib... how would the old Malfoy (I don't remember if you have given him a name or not) have reacted? I can see two ways, either he helped his son run away or something, faking his death, or he killed his son because he couldn't stand the shame... Because one of the sons is believed to have died? Right? I'm quite tried so perhaps I'm mixing this up with another story...
HAHA, oh, I don't mind having some smut for the next couple of chapters ^^ Mystries is all well and good, but what would life be like without a little sex? So bring on the smut!

now, I do love your story cos it is so good and I can't wait to see what happens next. I don't really have any theories cos I'm just enjoying the story but all the little clues that you drop in just add to the intrigue. It really is awesome.

But damnit I want some of those lemons! Missionary sex is all well and good but not for our favourite couple. They are both too damn fiery to settle for that. So bring on the lemons... and make it juicy! Ok, I may have got carried away slightly but I can't help it - it's all gorgeous Lucius' fault. Roll on next chapter and I won't be skipping any of it!

Oh, good chapter. I am intrigued abou the Squibs. It seems that the last Malfoy scion was very interested in bloodlines. Or, is that the Veil working again? I feel for Hermione with the prodigiously boring teas and the invitations to the ball. She's so intelligent and vibrant, she must feel stifled and quite bored. I wonder how Lucius could help alleviate that boredom? Hmm... it sounds like he has idea, at least in the next chapter.

I do like your characterization of him. He's autocratic and overbearing, but really struggling with trying to be better, at least with Hermione. I'm not so sure about with other people, yet. He does have a way of justifying everything. The Hermione as a pureblood is a perfect example. Yes, he's correct that it will make her life easier, but if they have to complete their lives in the past, no one will know she's a Muggleborn, and therefore he won't have changed his family history. It seems like he missed that mark with that, and I hope it doesn't come back to bite them on their butts... Although, biting Lucius' butt wouldn't be such a bad thing, if you think about it.

I love how Lucius is going about protecting his family's holdings. I do wonder if things would be different if the wizarding world weren't so segregated. It does seem to engender a little bit of snobbery and inbreeding.

BTW I should have my chapter posted on Miss Patil tonight. Thanks for the great read I really enjoyed the chapter.
