ch 29 - aha, the red-circled names and number of LOAN entries match - so was Uncle Malfoy secretly a source of help to displaced Squibs? I cannot guess that LOAN stands for and will add that to the long list of mysteries to be revealed. :=) I'm so glad the newlyweds are getting along, enough to have a 'painting' in the next chapter. squeee!! thank you for updating, and glad you had a good visit on the 4th.

I can't wait to find out what painting he picks out. I loved everything they confessed to each other. It's about time, especially for Hermione. She usually so outgoing with her thoughts, but all of the shit going through her head and not coming out of her mouth was getting old. I love this story, I check this site many times a day just to see if you have updated, it frequently makes me laugh out loud, especially Lucius. The way you write his dry wit is just great. I will patiently wiat for more, apparently I got a little too close to veil as well, because wow that is the most I ever written about any story ever. What can I say that is the effect your writing has on me. Am I next in the spanking line? I'll be good (or bad) which ever Lucuis prefers.

People only like missionary sex? Hee. OK, well, that gives some clues there, and the Squibs are starting to be ostracized, but how are they going to turn that around? I'm sure you will give us a wonderful explanation. Boy, if I had to do all that stuff Hermione is doing with stuffy rich housewives, I'd probably start murdering them, or become a cat burglar and steal their jewelry.

OMG! In the opening, Hermione could easily be Lizzy with her hate of the tete-et-tetes with the socailites! I've read so much P&P fanfics with Lizzy complaining about the many Carolines! lol! You're feeding my muse lady!

What's to stop her transfiguring the bloomers into Frenchies? I'm a sod for knickers (as well as socks) and I just bought a pair that wouldn't look out of place on a Moulin Rouge cancan dancer! You know, with all the frills and bows! Can't she transfigure a pair (or six) of them? They're a bit more naughty; Lucius might stop laughing!

I was rather bored one day, and avoiding coursework... and I worked out the genetics of Harry Potter! I thought it was a combination of two sets of genes that made it up. One set of genes gives the ability to use magic, and is dominant (so MM or Mm would be magical); but there has to be something that means muggleborns and squibs can exist - so there has to be a recessive gene for the ability to use or access the magic (so aa would let you be completely magical if you were MM or Mm!) A squib would be dominanat for both - having magical ability but not the ability to use it... and the muggle borns could turn up if the genes all matched up! (did that make sense?)

Oooh, black lace. mmmmm. Awww! no corsets! I do like my corsets! (Though, they'd be referred to as a pair of stays in that time, accodring to P&P DVD. I love that DVD! mmmm, McFadden as Darcy... *dribble*)

Lucius makes her sound like a pedigree from the Kennel Club! KC pedigrees are BRILLIANT to read, my former boss was a prize winner at Crufts (best in breed and best junior, but no best in shows - yet). He's being rather insulting - but at least he was honest and told her!

I got some theories about the uncle and the pair from thirty years ago, but I am not sure whether they are right as I am not writing the story.
But nonetheless, a great chapter and I am looking forward to the next one and see how Hermione takes it to be spanked.
