I am so far behind in this story, but reading as fast as I can! It is so good, and I realize they will be together in the end, but... the suspension is killing me. For the first time I am thinking of skipping all the chapters ahead of me to see what happens. I won't do it I swear! I know we will get past the angst and into a relationship at some point. In the interim, I know you will write a wonderful story and so I am going to go chapter by chapter. It is just so hard. :-)

Thanks for sharing your talent!

hee. poor lucius just got a real shock! :) well you timed the update real well it is the first time in several days that i have been able to get on to the computer. well their idea is getting better formed all the time! i cant wait to see what you (and hermione--of course) have in story for lucius! :) no worries about not knowing anything about riding i personally have no clue i just love horses and i would and love hearing about them so it is up to you, you could always ask someone who knows (or the next best thing wing-it and just tell us to deal with the out come. ;) i wonder (you really dont have to respond to this, but hear it is...) is lucius comment about hermione assumed being a pureblood going to have an impact, and will that statement going to have to be revirsed? also when is the children issue going to be coming up, again? (okay the last two sentences are mostly my rambling--you can choose to answer...vaglly or not all. :) it is up to you!)
p.s. i really hate those moments of daily down time!

I'm back! Ok...I was never really gone but I had not had the chance to read your last three chapters until now.

So...Chapters 35 and 36 were very interesting both plot-wise and lemon-wise. I have to say that my mind first leapt to Hermione getting riding lessons of a different sort when that little bit of banter started. She was either going to be riding a certain wizard's cock or (more comical) riding on Lucius' back and whipping him with the crop as he crawled around on all fours. Erm. I'm not sure why but the latter visual assaulted me first. Luckily for my sanity, the whipping and Hermione's questions beat the image out of my mind. That was lovely!

Ok. Now I get to read chapter 37!

Lucius always leaps to conclusions when there is the slightest possibility of Hermione having spoken to another male of the species. Egads! She'll have to beat that out of him at some point...

"but she knew she had the purest of motives" Um...I'm not sure that those motives are very pure. No complaints, mind you...just amused that pure is the adjective of choice.

Ooooo! Do I detect another painting in the works? So, Hermione wants to be the giver? (but being the receiver can be so very pleasureable!) Perhaps Lucius can turn her 'switch' regarding that enjoyable activity LOL! I was amused by the fact that he got jealous when Hermione told him she sought out expert advice on what would please him in the bedroom. I laughed until my sides hurt (which didn't take very long because I currently have a cold, but it was very funny, nonetheless) when Hermione called Lucius a 'snatch'. That's an entirely different scenario, one I don't think Lucius would EVER be able to turn Hermione on to.

But enough about the smut (even though the smut is GREAT, the plot needs to be addressed as well) This 'Veil' thing is all so very confusing for our inadvertent couple. Poor Hermione doesn't have any of her trusty books to fall back on because they have yet to be published (must be very disconcerting for her) Add that to the fact that the Veil seems to be manipulating their lives and the confusion increases. Although you didn't answer my previous questions about the howler (I understand...you need to keep some things underwraps for now) I can't help but wonder, now that discussion has turned back to the Veil, could someone else from their time have fallen through the Veil as well? Lucius & Hermione weren't deposited directly into London for some reason (be it to acclimate to their new environment or whatever) so I would think that if someone else had come through the Veil, wouldn't the same be said for them, that they would land in whatever place they needed to be in and the Veil would manipulate their lives from there? You don't need to answer, I'm just sort of thinking 'out loud' (HA! HA!)

Great chapter! Looking forward to your next update!

ROFLMAO -- too bad Hermione doesn't have access to the internet in her adopted time period -- Lucius might just be taken to school. LOLOL -- I can so see him being all indignant at someone else schooling his "mare" in the exercises. He is quite a possessive rider. And, I can't believe you've never smelled a horse. You poor thing -- if I could bottle it, believe me, I would!

Thanks for sharing, Pitt

Two reviews in one cos you updated so quick!

Chapter 36 - well! Just as I was getting over the vision of Lucius in jodhpurs with a whip (mmm), this barrelful of lemons comes tumbling down. Lucius is a lucky boy but I don't think Hermione would get a chance for the power of the whip to rush to her head. Lucius would be ready to sort her out with a weapon of his own! By the way, if Lucius needs cream applied to soothe his pain, can I join what I'm sure is already a mile long queue? Or I could kiss it better?

Chapter 37 - Hermione is a sneaky one - I think she's taking on some of Lucius' slytherin qualities. I had a giggle at Lucius' outrage about her secret meetings but really it is for his benefit. I'm sure he has plenty to teach Hermione that will totally overshadow whatever Margaret has taught her.

I'm glad you gave the squib house a different name. There was definite 'weakest link' abuse waiting to happen so that will help them fit in with the other houses.

Roll on chapter 38!

Fluorescent pink? Well, I'm not really a pink girl so I decided to go for a dark forest green - to remind Lucius of slytherin, of course. I made it through the slalom of guards relatively unscathed although a couple of them weren't happy with just a sponge bath. I won't go into detail but thank god the suit is wipe clean! All of the ickyness was forgotten once I reached Lucius' cell. Hazmat suit tossed aside, a couple of candles, a much nicer sponge bath and a massage with a very happy ending! That's the way to put the smile back on his face... and mine!! Anyhoo, next visit is in two weeks, hazmat suit cleaned and ready to go!!

Ah, the Lynx - that has a nice ring to it. Though Lucians is even better! I like that one.

Laughed out loud at Lucius being a snatch. I like the idea of Hermione taking sex advice from a Madam - she would always go to an expert in the field, I think. I have to wonder just how Lucius DID get through all those years in Azkaban; it must have been torment for the poor dear.

So when will Lucius and Hermione do more snatching, I wonder? Or will they go for a more traditional style of lemon next? I'm placing my bets now.

Lucius was horrified by the idea of Margaret, but he liked the benefits. I like Hermione's way of looking at things. She needed to be able to provide something, so she did what she does best, research. I love that. And I loved the humor in her getting the words wrong. Of course, now I'm looking forward to the next painting.
