Yay, you can update early all you want. I am starting to wonder what your next story could be. I know you have quite a few chapters, but now I am thinking you must be making a lot of progress with your new story, if you feel comfortable posting sooner.

Anyway, Hermione is so cute when she

You know I must say as much as I enjoy the lemons, your lemonless chapters are just as good and I enjoy them just as much....just differently. LOL Anyway, another fabulous update and a wonderful little look into the minds of Lucius and Hermione and their thoughts and feelings for one another. I can't wait for more!

Chapter 37

Heh, I'm not surprised that Hermione asked Margaret about some of Lucius's more interesting proclivities. She just isn't the type to remain in ignorance if she can help it. I have a feeling Lucius may be avoiding the bordello a bit more than usual now, hehe. Perhaps Hermione had a double purpose in her questioning.

I do love a sexually liberated male. Poor Lucius and the unsatisfying candles. Hermione should do a little better by him once she knows what she's doing. :)

Glad to see that the issue of potential slurs seems resolved.

Good comparison to the Sorting Hat. I always wondered what was up with that particular object; JK never gave us an explanation. I can come up with plenty of my own, but it makes sense that the Veil is a similar sort of old, sentient magical object. Another interesting dimension to consider.

So far it seems like Lucius and Hermione are doing evertying right, but I think it's just the calm before the storm...

Chapter 38

Oh, they are so cute with their verbal sparring.

Lucius is such a sweetheart in this chapter. He's being a very good husband. I must say, good behavior does suit him and maybe he is making some progress on his New Leaf program. I'm just chuckling to myself thinking of Lucius talking to the women Hermione lists. How could any of them resist him? If he can't charm or con it out of them, he'll SCARE it out of them. That's how he rolls. Reason #53245 why I love him.

It's nice to see that their bond is starting to include more than just physical passion. That's all fine and dandy, but without the kind of intimacy they have in this chapter, there is (the irony) a weak link in their relationship. Lucius has admitted to himself that he's basically in love. I'm sure Hermione feels the same. The trouble is admitting it to each other. I hope they can do it before whatever ill-defined threat that exists makes life difficult.

Well done. I wait with baited breath for the fecal fan-hitting.

She obviously thinks quite highly of him. Apparently though, Lucius can't see it, which makes for a good story. That was a good, if lemon-free chapter.

@%$#&^)_(*)&%% --breaths deeply--- i am okay now. i just HATE the down time. but i totally agree with you it should be nice soothing music instead. okay on to the review. that was sweet of lucius--he really has fallen for her. :) great fluff chapter such as these are great too! :) well i wonder how the dinner party will go, i do hope that you wrote about that! ;) i love that hermione comes to him to vent on those brainless, irratating fret women. :) i know in your own good time of yours you will lets us have the children discessuion. so i will be waiting paticantly.....as i can that is. :) i know in your own time you will also tell us how hermione feels besides i think (this is me just thinking out loud) she will be the one who will go out on a limb and tell lucius how much she truely loves him and it will bring them all the closer. besides men are more of the 'showy' kind of love. and us being the smart women that we know it. :) i also love how they can totally be calm in each others presance it also show a deeper connetion and understanding of on another. :) okay i think that is the longest review i have EVER written. so now that i have talked your ear off. i will stop now. update please!!!!!! :)

Aww, the bath thing was such a sweet gesture (not that Lucius would ever admit it!) Can't wait to find out who's doing the blackmailing - or for Hermione to say "sod it" to polite society and tell those horrible women where to go!
Brilliant story! thank you for writing it!

Oh dear, the best she can come up with is washing their mouthes with soap? She's soooooo cute! lol!

Idiot females travel in flocks? Really? I know several flocks, if that's thre case. Cats with sharp claws, they be. [and she channels Yoda...]

Lucius makes EVERYTHING all alright again by giving her a hug. Hugs are good. Lucius is well trained. lol.

Have you ever tried to write a review whilst watching the Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy? Its a challenge, I tell you! lol.

Talk about well trained! If Lucius wanted to guarentee endless happiness and greatfulness then putting that bath in was a brilliant idea... Does Lucius introduce really good internal plumbing to the magical world??

There's always something that makes me smile when I read HP fanfics - the use of the word MATE rather than spouse. Mate is more organic and natural, a more comfortable word to use. Spouse sounds like it's artificial in some way, the way your mouth shapes when you say it, it just feels OTT and if you look in a mirror while you say it you look a total twit. Mate is so calm with natural mouth shapes... and I'm rambling.

The biochemistry of the maternal atatchment (providing the atatchment forms) is the same one as when you first fall head-over-heels in love, but it doesn't dwindle like romance does. Lots of happy neurotransmitters are released, Oxytocin among them. I'm not surprised Lucius noticed Narcissa loved Draco more than him - if she never truly loved him, then her atatchment to Draco would have been a biochemical slap in the face. I'll dig up the really well explained diagram from NewScientist and send it to you, it says it better than I ever could.

Hermione loves him, and should they decide to have children, I think Hermione has plenty of love to share between two people who need her care.

Hi Labib.

O.K. I'm all caught up now.

Lucius was a tad fluffy in this chapter. He's got it bad.

I do have a feeling that a wedge is going to be driven between these two. They are getting along too well.

Perhaps I just crave the drama.

The thought of Lucius in a marble tub full of bubbles is rather tasty. But the hipbath did have it's merits.
