ch.49: Excellent, but then I have not read anything of yours that was not. This story is so original and has a premise that I have not read anywhere. That Hermione started showing Lucius how much she loved him AND that he felt comfortable to tell her how much he loved her were favorites for me. I know that I am a siss where feelings are concerned, but have never been able to control that part of me so am especially happy when it occurs with characters that I come to care about, which is easy to do when an author makes them so real through their stories. p

ch.50: Very enjoyable reading. The only part that was even vaguely off for me was Filch. Don't you love it, I can buy Merlin in a giant arch, but not Filch as anything other than smarmy and creepy. Really liked the way you tied everything up at the end although I would have loved to know what Alexis was brewing for her Dad (unless I missed that somewhere along the line). Anyway, loved it, put it on my favorite list in my computer along with all of your others read so far. Thanks for sharing your stories. p

Ch.35: The neatest part of the endeavor is the way Lucius has embraced a segment of his society that during his own time were treated as outcasts. And what a testament to his change that he seeks help from Hermione. (that had to go a long way in her feeling that he no longer sees her as less than...). Even so, he retains his inner Lucius. Thank the Lord!!! Love it. p

Ch.24: Lucius may have turned over a new leaf, but it comes from the same tree... and would we really like it any other way? He doesn't stand a chance and hasn't even realized it yet, but I have a feeling he will. p

Ch.37: I'm betting that Gus has something to do with the remaining movement against squibs via blackmail. That would have been a way to hide the money and he would have been in a position to know who should be paid a bribe. hmmmmm. Your story brings up so many thoughts (I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing for someone who overthinks everything like I do). I also keep waiting for Lucius or Hermione to blurt out that they love the other at some point. Well time will tell. p

Ch.38: Great chapter. So sweet to see her beginning to give him his due AND the way he responds is even better. I had to laugh at your comments at the bottom...Mob boss? I was thinking Field Grade Officer (USMC type) as my experience has been that there is no ego to rival theirs. I had to laugh at the comment that where there is a disagreement on something, his opinion rules. Reminded me of the, "I want you to make the decisions unless I want to make them" with no idea when that would be. Except that he is always there, it is eerie how his attitude matches what I grew up with and then married. ;) p

Go me! I knew it was "gus". Hermione needs to learn to do away with the bad guys sometimes though. Maybe Lucius will take him for a little trip to the forest and then remove his wand while leaving Hermione's hex in place so that he cannot use his power to get out. ;) I was wondering why Hermione did not call for the elves to help her when she found him there. Did they go and get Lucius? If so, he will have much less trouble treating them kindly, huh? Excellent chapter. p

Ch.17: Lucius may be in stalker mode, but I believe that he is paying dearly for whatever he may get in the end. It is just amazing to me that he keeps coming back for more, even if they are the only ones from their time. I would have set her up in some other place by now if I were Lucius. Usually Hermione is good to a fault; however, she is snotty and rude here. Where was her apology to him for sitting in front of him reading? And after he pointed out to her that she never thanked him for anything he did for her, she finally said thank you for him getting the wrinkles out of her dress. There was no thank you for the book store or the books. Just bad manners all the way around. p

It is possible for the Veil to put them in that particular time to accomplish "saving" the magic world without directing HOW they accomplish that special feat. Or the veil could simply know how they will act and so put them where they needed to be and gave them what they would need to follow their destiny. It does not have to control their every move and it is still possible that they NOT do what needs to be done to do the saving. Very interesting. p

So Hermione could be decended from Squibs, decended from Squibs, etc. and therefore be pureblood herself? Ha to the naysayers! wouldn't that be great? p
