If I were to leave you a review with everything I loved about this story, I don't think it would all fit onto one screen. Truly, you've done a wonderful job here. The way that you built the mystery, the way that you encouraged Lucius' and Hermione's burgeoning emotions to flourish, as well as the way you kept them in tune with the eras in which they found themselves was marvelously executed.

This tale is so beautifully woven that I can honestly see the events unfold. I absolutely adore the intrigue you've presented.

And I must add that you have provided my all-time favorite author's note at the end:

(Those wanting more sex may re-read chapters 13 (solo/M), 22, 23, 26, 30, 32, 34, 36, 41, 42 and 49.) I chuckled heartily at that.

Love the story, but Hermione is too emotional. She cries too frequently, and this is coming from the woman who cried over ice cream during that time of the month.

Absolutly LOVE the story so far. LM-HG is a newer pairing to me but with your stories I've grown to love it! Quick bit of clarification needed though. In chapter 15 you state that Lucius' solicitors was 'NEVILLE & Ridge', but in chapter 16 it's changed to 'NESBITT & Ridge'. Haven't gotten into chapter 17 and on yet but just thought it'd be worth noting that there's some conflicting info going on here. Onward to chapter 17, can't wait!

This is one of the best Lucius/Hermione stories I've read and I've read a few :) It has a great story and some really steamy scenes and they work very well together!

Very nice and intresting to see how Lucius and Hermione could get together.

I had a long review all set up, but then I thought about it. The simplest way I can put this is I preferred your version over canon. This was a pleasure to read, fantastic, well written, well edited. An all around joy. Unfortunately I seem to catch all of your stories after they have been finished, so I don't get to see them as they progress. But you now have a devoted reader.

ch.45: Sorry I keep forgetting to add the chapter numbers-I guess I keep airing out. Poor Lucius could have avoided all of the suffering if he had told Hermione when she asked although she was not being particularly helpful to him and was pretty hurtful (and may have used that info against him) so it may not have had the same outcome as it did in the end. Lucius speaks as though he would still be a death eater. It would be difficult to get out from under his father so he may still be forced, but maybe not. It would suck if they had to live that again. p

ch.46: Clyt? Lucius may think that the shortened version is enough to go through with naming their child. It may even make him think of how to better choose a boy's name. I think this was my favorite chapter overall. Waiting for them to finally fess up to their love for each other makes the story. Love it. p

I certainly feel better now. It did not bother me for Hermione to cry as she does that often enough; however, when you had Lucius weep, it was too sad to be unaffected. And he had no way of knowing where he was in his life and what awaited his future.
This chapter makes it all better though. It is great that he knows that she visited him and loved him throughout his incarceration. Loved it! p
