Oh, sweet Circe, this is an excellent story. You've done a wonderful job writing our lupine friend. I can actually feel his sorrow--and Tonks' as well, for she loves him and he's in so much pain. You've captured the angst without getting caught up in it. Keep up the great work!

You can die of a broken heart, and there is actually a medical term for it for coroners to use. My Grandfather gave up on life after my Gran died. So sad to see that Remus feels he has no hope left, Hermione would be so angry with him for giving up!
10/10! The emotions were perfect, this wasn't a pleasure to read as it brought back a lot of unhappy memories for me; but I CANNOT deny the QUALITY of this piece!

Perfect, priceless, and I absolutely love it (and you). Have I told you yet that my favorite part is how the wolf rejects her? I'm thinking a sequel---perhaps some miracle brings Hermione back BEFORE Remus dies, or they get together in the afterlife (which is what I picture happening). Okay, leave it here as you should, but know that I'm thinking all sorts of things and this story was incredible!
