Sorry about your cat, but either you are a serious writer or you are not.
I am angry not directly at you, but at all of the "authors" who post stories on any website and then decide they don't want to finish the stories they have started.
This is not high school, this is a chance to prove yourself as a good and serious writer and a person who can be taken seriously in any way. Once you disprove that notion, do you really think anyone will read your material knowing you will not finish it?
Maybe some readers will, but I won't. Do not publish a story unless you have written 80-100% of it, if you are just experimenting, don't publish at all. I appreciate and have read so many true authors who have used this and other websites to launch their careers or just have their writing appreciated and I will always read anything they write. Then there are those people who start something and don't finish it. It is not just their writing, they don't finish anything in their lives.
It gets really old trying to find who is serious and who is not, I think it is time to have a talk with the owners of this website and maybe settle that question.
My best of luck to you in what ever you chose to do, but apparently it should not be writing on a public forum.

no need to say "go easy- its my first fic" , in fact I never ever would have guessed that! Beautiful writing style, extremely interesting plot as well! Looking forward to reading the next chapter~!

Oh I really like this so far. I did see a few spelling mistakes where it simply looked like you forgot a letter if your typing but it was minor. The plot is very interesting and I love the Harry/Tom/Fen pairing.
