I think you really nailed Snape's mindset. The internal dialogue/discourse seems to be so spot on with his character. What I really like is that I can't tell where this is going, if it's going to be a simple story line or something more complex as evidenced by the attempted suicide at the begining. And I don't care either way because it's written so well. Good on you.

If this is your first story, I can't wait to read more.
