sinbad: I did a bit of light editing for you, hope you don't mind. I do it for anyone that needs it, though I'm by far no authority. I enjoyed your contribution very much. Thank you. (I don't know much about wine either. Anytime I write about it, it's after going to Google, lol.)

"What's the worse that can happen? She'll say no?"

No... a squid will kill you and then rape your corpse.

I'm torn. I like Ron. Maybe not for Hermione, but he's a decent sort. Oh well, the snippets are entertaining. I've discovered many excellent authors, and consequently, a lot of good reading material. Still, poor Ron. He's died in so many unpleasant ways, and we're only at 25. Maybe I don't like him as much as I thought, because a well placed "And score he will, indeed." makes it all worth it. ^^ Keep it up.

(A warning of character death in the summary is a bit redundent, eh?)

Oh my god. lolol. What a way to go! Raped to death by the Giant Squid. POOR RON! I tell ya'll what . . . if this little series of deaths doesn't garner Ron some sympathy in the long run, there are a bunch of cold-hearted people in this world. lolol. Wonderful, Grey Lady and well written. Thank you. ***

Yes, Melissa. This is a great way for other great and interesting writers to be found. I hope a lot of readers are checking out their work as well. It's pretty nice that I'm able to use my account for something other than shameless self promotion. I don't participate in a lot of outside SS/HG writing thingees, I'm so obsessed with my own writing. I was like that as a poet too, but did used to showcase other poets, getting them into bookstores, getting free advertising in the papers, on the radio, featuring them on a website I had called "The New South Poets Association" and just promoting them. It was easy since I was known and published, so I just used that to give others a leg up. I'm not competitive at all and like to see others do well. I enjoyed promoting as much as reading, but I rarely would go out and do any heavy socializing with them afterwards. I'd just go home. lol. But I'm weird anyway . . . I'm the most reclusive yet social person I know. And I'm really enjoying this. I'm glad you are too.

Ms Figg! How dare you become a "rule breaker" yourself. Rule # 2. Ron's death MUST occur after Voldie's death, simply because he was so important in DH. We are destroying the epilogue ONLY.

Moldie-Pants was still alive when Ron died.

good story none the less.

A very interesting take on what has become a fandom staple. A few minor technical issues to point out: there's only 1 z in wizard; merlot, like most red wines, is usually severed room tempreture and seldom iced or chilled, if you must ice the wine consider a chablis or chardonnay, or maybe one of the noveau blushes: white merlot, lighter than a true merlot but mustier than white zinfandel.
