Ah AngelPrince: I'm being encouraging and enjoying the ideas that are being put out. I'm not in critique mode. I haven't critiqued anything for years. I am generally a Simon when I critique, and I really don't care much about spelling errors, word usage. punctuation and the like, because things like that are mechanics and can be fixed. I fix them in this series for the authors that need it because it helps with readability, but I do as little as possible and I never mess with the content. The content is the heart of the piece and the author's true work. And the content of these little shorts have been very enjoyable.
As a poet who participated in critique sessions, I've had to suffer through tons listening to poetry full of flowery language and no content, and poets who just want to show off how "pretty" they can write. Ooh, did they get blasted. I'd say things Simon would be proud of . . . such as: "All right. I've sat here and listened to three verses of nothing but descriptions and alliteration. Where the hell is the poem???"
lol. Yep. That's me. That's also probably why I am more action/dialogue oriented than descriptive in my stories. But, I digress.
I'm of the mind that as people read, they absorb what moves them and learn it subconsciously. I know some of the stories here have been contributed by people who have never written any fanfic and find that despite the need to learn the mechanics of writing, their ideas are good and they can tell a story. All they have to do is learn the mechanics. Hell, I'm still learning the mechanics. lol. I still don't always do my quotes right, or capitalize the things that should be capitalized. I have tons of references in stories to "deatheaters" rather than "death eaters." There's plenty wrong, believe me. :) But I said all that to say this, I wasn't being gentle, Angel. Just appreciative. I think you have had other reviews but weren't named. Just the story referenced. ***

I am on holiday. Or my muse is for my stories anyway. I'm just hanging out now for a week with no emails about updates, which is like heaven. Two scenarios came to me about Ron's death in the car today and I just wrote one out. :) The other has a lemon in it. Yum. Maybe I'll write that one too. I don't know. Hey, I never said Ron had to always be bashed. lol. Just Die. I thought he deserved a courageous death after everything he's gone through so far. Like I said, this little collaboration makes me sympathic to Ronnikins. I can't help it. You see how many POOR RON's are in my comments? lol.
