I was referred to this story by my lovely Coven sisters. How brilliant!! I loved this. And a different take with Harry being the Veela. I adored this. You go girl! I'll be looking for more of your work!

What a delightful change of pace from all the cliche veela fics. There he was, the self-sacrifing Harry Potter- both attracted and trying to undo his desire for his erstwhile boyhood rival. Naturally Malfoy had alot of payback dues to collect, and requiring payment for 'services rendered' was his best choice as it provided him with a front row seat to witness Harry's complete and utter humiliation. Oddly ironic as he would have died without Harry's 'Veela problem' to ensure his miraculous recovery. Kudos to you for showing us the twists and turns of this rather thorny relationship, which came to a fitting end. I sincerely hope to see more of your fertile imagination at work so TTFN, and as always please continue writting away.

This was by far the best Veela story I've ever read. It wasn't rushed, it was well paced. Giving us false hopes at times, and letting us down gently at others. It mad me mad at times and smile with glee at other. I was so worried that Harry would find a way out one way or the other and I held out the hope that Draco would come around before something horrible happened. The ending made it so much better. "No one leaves a Malfoy." You're damn right. That'd be stupid. Lol, I think I'm going to read this again and I'm definately going to recommend this to others. This is my favorite Veela fic every. I was able to read it in one sitting and I felt that it was a novel I'd cherish forever.

I thoroughly, THOROUGHLY, enjoyed this! "I'm doing this out of the kindness of my heart." "You don't have a heart." Ha ha.
I'm not a big fan of Veela fics myself, but this one had me giggling the whole time. The humor was great, the descriptions in Egypt were fantastic, the smut was hot and steamy, and even Harry's oggling and "oh god I'm so obsessed with you and I don't know why" stuff didn't even bother me. Draco Malfoy was written superbly. I wonder if he ever had a fiancee at all. Loved it.
Great, great, job!

Thank you so much for the fab reviews! I wish this site had a "reply" feature. I've never been to Egypt, although I've always been enthralled with it. Many of my fics read like travel guides and I have a great time researching these places--I could lead a tour through Blarney Castle, even though I've never actually been there, lol!
I had more fun with this fic than expected. Hope everyone enjoyed it.

Ch. 1 Well, I suppose this is sort of a happy ending. But I found myself being more than annoyed at Malfoy, especially since he kept ordering Harry around and calling him names. Did he even thank Harry for rescuing him? No, he just shows up and starts making demands (including that Harry buy him a house--expensive whore, isn't he?). He can't even call Harry by his name! Cute trinket and broken engagement aside, you'd think he could manage that much.

that was perfect. just the right ammount of obstinate, sweet and oblivious harry. and slightly cruel yet possessive draco. I absolutely loved it.

Squee!! OMG! This was a work of absolute Genius! *grin* It was soooo different from the other Veela fics! I absolutely loved it! This fic is the only one I've been able to think about for the last 48 hours (I had to keep interupting my reading so it took a while to finish)! Absolute Prefection. *beams*
