Yikes! That certainly explains why nobody would want to utter the name of Voldemort. What the hell was she thinking?
But now she really is in deep. Voldemort wants to pass her around at Walpurgis Night - I guess there's nothing Snape can do about it without compromising his cover.

Snape is such a hero in these chapters! I feel so sad that Ginny and Neville will never know that it was him that healed them, or saved them.
Typical, eh, he gets no recognition, as usual.

It's very interesting to see how canon is tying in with story - I like reading the Ginny and Neville bits, and thought you caught Hagrid's speech and character really well.
I can only imagine it's about to get really (even) darker soon; I almost wish it could be AU and Valerie could save his life...
