Oooooh this is getting more and more interesting. I am glad that Severus is showing more emotion towards Harry, ah the meeting between the half brothers will be fun especially cause of Draco if what Severus said is true. Oh and I cant wait for that mate thing to take effect :D

Ohh, thanks for the answer :) I'm rather looking forward to see how Draco will react. In all honesty I hope that he won't throw a 'Malfoys sized tantrum'. But it's quite expected if you just 'poof' and find out that your school rival is in fact your very own blood brother. Hopefully he will see it in such a light that he welcomes Harry with open arms.
I rather prefer longer chapters... It's hard to come up with anything to review if it's too short. I, myself don't really like short reviews like 'Great chapter! Update soon!'. Those irritate me, so I always try my best to feed authors with long reviews. But it's impossible with short chapters so don't scold me if you get short reviews >_

i wouldnt mind longer chapters, but you do seem to update fairly frequently so i dont think i mind either way. Ony thing with short chapters is you just get back into the story then it ends. Good chapter though. Like the plot between Lily n Dumbles. Its nice to see snape with james instead of her. that happens too often in fics.
