Well, I've been an off and on reader since the updates are so few and far between, but your last chapter just broke my heart. I'm sure it broke the heart of every girl who reads this fic that's been the tomboy, the bookworm, the best friend, etc, because we've all been through this (and some see no end in sight). So I'll be waiting for the update just to live vicariously through the good times you've created. :)

And while you may feel way too young, I do want to say congratulations. :) Good luck too...

congrats on the baby and don't be scared....its scary whether planned or not. its a big deal. trust me, you will never love anyone like you do that baby. enjoy yourself and the experience. love that baby and just trust your instinct. all that baby needs is your love, warmth, reassurance and to hear your voice. patience...have lots of patience.

{{{HUGS}}} You have a lot on your plate, right now. My pregnancy with my daughter was also unexpected, unplanned and something I struggled with before deciding to keep her. (Of course, once she became a teenager, I was trying to give her away but she's in her twenties now and much better *G*) Good luck. Writing and motherhood are not mutually exclusive pursuits, but trying to do both does present challenges. If you ever do get back to these stories, there will be people happy to see the updates. Best of luck with all the changes going on in your life. My bet is you are going to find them amazingly rewarding.

Well, hon, it's a scary thing, but you're bringing new life and hope into the world. If you've got the support of your family, that's great. If not, well, there are church groups that will be thrilled you chose not to terminate your pregnancy. Plus, you were doing the responsible thing, so, look at it this way: God really wants this baby in the world, if it's coming even if you were on the pill; He must have a dilly of a plan for it. :D While we'd all like to keep reading about the adventures of Draco and Hermione, in all your stories, RL always trumps fanfic. Take care of yourself and your little one and the rest will take care of itself. I have four kids (and one miscarriage), and I can remember how scared I was when I was pregnant with our first. We both wanted to much to be better parents than our own were; so far, though, none of them is an axe-murderer, so I guess that's a blessing. ;D You learn as you go. Email me if you have questions or need help. :D Kazfeist at gmail dot com. :D

Thanks for the update. Have been wondering a long time if this story would be continued. It would be a shame to peter out, it's so funny, charming, & now a bit angsty.
Best wishes to you, the baby & to prospective Dad too, who is undoubtedly scared too. I hope you are both talking about this. In any even, please know there are a lot of us out here who are interested & pulling for you. Let us know periodically how things are going.

Alexis,

I got married when I was your age and just this past year had a baby...15 days before my 29th birthday. We had tried and tried for 8 years to get pregnant and I was told I would never have children. Just proof that God works in mysterious ways. I don't really think that age plays a part in the fear that goes with becoming a mother and carrying a child. I know that it was what I'd wanted and I was still terrified! Everything seems to take a backseat in your life and your whole world is focused on this tiny little life growing inside you. I'm fairly certain that none of your faithful readers (myself included) would blame you for taking a hiatus in light of how hectic your RL has been.

Remember that there is a reason behind every child and each one is a blessing; regardless of how, when and where it was conceived. The idea of being responsible for another living being can and probably will be overwhelming. But if you have the support of your boyfriend and family it's going to make it that much easier.

If you have any questions about your pregnancy that seems off the wall, or if you just want to talk about things, feel free to email me; moonstar_75@hotmail.com. I check that email every day, so I'll get it before I would get one through the email I have on here.

Congratulations on your little blessing and I look forward to more of your story!

I think this story is absolutely adorable! I'm usually not a big fan of AU, but I find this so charming! I really hope you can update soon so I won't be left in torture! ;)

OMG - that was so funny I was cackling...how unsightly. I don't know what was funnier: the inner eye pimple or the Terry Boot poem.

Seriously, I think the most romantic thing Draco's done is this -- he's acting like an idiot for a girl. And she doesn't appreciate it. It's awesome, silly, romantic and sweet - and even Hermione has to realize that it's not just for sex. No way would a guy make a fool of himself in front of the whole school for a piece of arse. I was wondering if the whole school knew but I realized in this chapter that they did...oh Draco win baby win cause everyone will be cheering you on. I am.
