Solid writing. Its a compelling story that, even when not a terrific fan of slash, I still read it. It didn't come off as sounding amateur at all, which is a welcome relief from most fanfic. I don't wan this to be completely a rave, since the button says "review", so. A few thoughts. Albus reacting to harry's threat (in chapter 1) to kill the Dursleys would probably not be met with a "they had it a long time coming". That just seems out of character, and throught the stoy it seemed like albus's character was fairly IC. Also, a dinaer has dark connotations and most people outside pure blood families fear them and the lies about them, so harry boarding the knight bus without any questions would be strange. In the books, Stanly Turnpike (i think thats his name, anyway, the guy on the knight bus) was dumb and ignorant, so seeing a dinaer would probably cause him to "flip a bitch". You wrote "after a short conversation" (with the operators i assumed) harry and albus sit down, but that wouldnt really explain away the fact that harry has giant black wings on his back.
