I like the opening to this fic - it sets the scene nicely and it could easily be a one-shot or the prelude to other chapters; it is complete and the last few words act as a perfect cadence.

This was so sad, Harry cutting his losses and running; Draco not caring until he realises nobody is there to put in the effort. I find it outragous that Draco has been seeing other people behind Harry's back (on more than one occasion), its quite alarming that gossip of such things hasn't got back to Harry! I think it shows Draco as having a low self-esteem and probably referring to this relationship as past relationships that weren't so involved and 'secure'.

Poor Harry, the Gryffindor is probably blaming himself for this!
