I read in your intro to chapter 16 that you wanted to know how us readers felt about your story. Well, here's how this reader feels.

I really like it. It's a very interesting plot. I was worried when I first read it, considering most AU harry potter stories fail to meet the fan's expectations. But I didn't have that problem with this one. Sure there's no magic and a lot of the story has changed around, (Snape ending up with Lily and the addition of Jimmy), but the story itself can support those changes. You really nailed Snape's character and made his POV a delight to read.

A few suggestions though, you need a new beta. I've spotted dozens of errors (my fault for being a grammar/spelling nazi) and would love to offer my services if you're willing.

And maybe this is just me, but I would love to see more Snarry action instead of Snily, after all this story is in the Harry/Snape section. If you had planned on more Snarry, then feel free to ignore me. I guess I'm just anxious to see them together.

wow great ending to this wonderful chapter. thanks so much for the two chappies! that was incredibly hot and sad at the same time. :( poor harry.. he just seems so obsessed with the whole thing- not being able to have who he loves.
cant wait for the update... i really wanna see how you made the ending. make sure its a happy one for us readers!

also, i've noticed that there are a few mistakes lying around here and there. it's not to an annoying extent but they're very elementary mistakes that a beta should catch easily. i think a beta/new beta will be great for this story.
if not, maybe you can hire one after you post up all the chapters- to make it extra special for the lucky few that stumble across this story!

OMGEEE. i love u. ive stayed with u since the first time u posted the story and i still love it. im really wanting some harry/snape action tho. i love all the plot thickening, but its time for snape to realize where his heart really ventures towards. i dont want to see harry hurt anymore cuz its too sad. snape should start doin some lovin, damnit! jk. but please, for me, a devoted reader? thx
