I truly enjoyed the story you've woven here, and I must say that one of the marks of truly great writing, in my opinion, is the ability to know when the drama has reached that point of completely becoming something darker than intended, and to turn it around. You did it all beautifully, with one line:

Oh my dear, I quite loved this story. Loved it. I can see where you first thought it was a PWP, but I also got quite caught up in Severus' quiet determination to control his emotions (is there any reason that I keep thinking of Spock off of Star Trek??? LOL) and his dark anguish upon realizing that he can not. Severus truly emobodies everything I've come to want from him in your stories. Loved it!

I just found the bookmark I had set for this story. I'm so glad you saw it all the way through. Titania Prince is a force to be reckoned with and I'm glad to have met her. I hope you have more planed for the future. You have a lovely writing style.
