The two of you are incredibly evil for making me think Ginny died. Stringing me along like that...thank you for the two big chapters in one day.

Usually, I come to AFF for purely smut and look to other sites such as FF.net for my novel length reads but for some reason, this story had drawn me in and I'm so glad that I contnued to read it, even without any Snarry smut coming for a very long time. Can't wait for the next chapter.

Now for the actual review, I like the fact that the relationship between Harry/Snape is evolving slowly. It's obvious that Harry cares for him a great deal and it's nice to see a Snape with some type of morals. He's willing to choke up his own needs and desires, just to be make sure that Harry is happy with his new family. Usually, when it comes to Harry/Ginny, I'm not the biggest fan in the world but I wouldn't dare wish this on either her or the baby. I hope everything turns out all right...for everyone, at the end.

gah! Finally! I knew 20 chapters ago that she was gonna die! Sad that the baby died too though. Harry's so gushy!

Oh man, I don't know who to feel more sorry for, Severus or Harry.
I think I'll go with Severus, seeing as how my heart is going to burst in sorrow for the poor guy!
Another great chapter! I do hope Harry wakes up and realizes what he could have with Severus soon!

Would you believe that after stating so many times how much I like Ginny, I was disappointed because she may have survived? When did I become this evil? Evidently sometime around chapter 31

First off -- yes! Please add me to your list of update-loving fans! I just discovered this story and decided to wait until the final chapter to review, thinking that I should get everything all out at once. Besides, too many words that are all flattery and no meat are empty and uninspiring, or so I've found. ^^ Now to sort through my notes.

I enjoyed thoroughly that this story sticks to the canon. I was so disappointed to know that Rowling wouldn't be writing any more about my beloved characters. I've been hoping that a good writer (in your case, writers) would get a bug and choose to write this sort of thing. You have a very professional style, as well as views on the interaction and personality of the characters. In fact, I'm such a fan of your style itself that I'd love to know if either of you have done any published works. Mayhaps, if you have, could I have a list to look up?

As I got further into the story, about chapter 18, I think, I really felt that the story and the emotions felt believable. All this silly tripe about Harry and Snape suddenly being in love is ridiculous. Emotions that are true take time to build up, especially with a past such as theirs. If only all writers were as sensible and capable of fluid storylines as you are...

There was one point in the story that I was disappointed, but it was very small. As fantastic as the first 22 chapters were, the 23rd and 24th were rather...different? It seemed almost as though someone else entirely was writing it. Harry was a complete jerk who didn't deserve to have a girlfriend for a short while there. I bet the Ginny bashers mentioned in your Author's Notes were very annoyed by how much of an independent woman she proved herself to be. That aside, you ended it very well with Snape's fatherly advice. Just strange that Harry would be so surprisingly lacking in modern views after having known Hermione for so long, with her S.P.E.W.

Fantastic job on the last two chapters I read! I was very eager to know what was going to happen and extremely glad I got to this story *after* your most recent update. Cliffhangers are so...wrong! XD I found the style in which you wrote this last chapter making me want to skip ahead to find out what the hell happened, but in a good way, and at least it's a break from the mold the rest fit into. The quirk where Snape couldn't find the potions was great; doesn't it seem that life always happens that way? The only time you can't find something is when it's right in front of your face, you really need it, or in this case, both at once.

All in all, this may very well be the best fanfic I've found on this whole website, and I'm happy I found it in the Snape/Harry category. I'll be checking your profile to see if there are any other delicious treats lurking around. It's readily apparent exactly how much time and effort you put into what you do, and please, keep it coming! It would really be a horrifying shame for you to stop because people are too lazy to click the R&R button. ; ;
