Wow, that review at the top of the page is a good example of things NOT to say to an author, not matter how miffed you are at their plot. Also, you have to love a bad reviewer (AKA flamer) that is too chicken shit to leave a review that is signed. Alexia, if you didn't like the story, you should have just moved on. There is no need for you to try to discourage writers who obviously have talent. Please, go read some mindless PWP that has no plot and leave the real reading to us adults.

My choice is:
"How important she was to him, now and always. She was his rock, in ways Severus hadn't been, and he didn't think he could face life without her."
I think that the main way Harry ever thought of Severus, always, was exactly as the rock that would hold him no matter what.
I'm still sad about Severus' death... I don't know if I'll ever forgive you... :)
Nice work though, the thought of SS trying to touch Harry and being stopped by the "portrait barrier" broke my heart.

OMG, what a brilliant return chapter and the end, I can just imagine Ginny's look when she sees Harry leaning against Severus' frame.

I know you say that this is a transitional chapter, but it packs quite the emotional punch. Good job on the dialogue and the suspenseful angst.

I'm not one that review often because I don't really know what exactly to say most of the time. I'm totaly not original I know but I think that for you authors it is important to know if your readers like what they read so the answer for that is a definite YES! And I think I like this story even more than others because I know that being two to write it is not simple and so it is in my eyes even more a 'chef d'oeuvre' that it already is. As a reader who is impatient to read all of a promising story and who never learned to pick complete works... I hope to see more of it soon but please continue to take the time need and not rush the style so this could stay the masterpiece that it is! And please, excuse the bad grammar and others errors in the review, english being my second language, I try but I'm aware it must happen anyway!!

I checked for an update today and was missing this story so much that I started reading the reviews to see if maybe I could find a reason you hadn't updated in so long. (Which I understand that RL comes first, darn it, but I enjoy this story so much!) And... I came to the last review, which I read and then went- WTF? I'm all for constructive criticism, but leaving a review that basically says 'I don't like what you're writing cause you're not writing what I like to read' is pretty damn stupid. If you don't like a story, backbutton it to the 'smooch, I love u so much, even though U R a raving idiot, now lets have sex that solves all our problems PWP' stories. And let those that are enjoying a story that is extremely well-written, in character, plotty, and not made up of cardboard teenagers enjoy it without worrying that two great authors are being harrassed and insulted because they didn't wrap it up in less than a thousand small and easy-to-read words! (Sorry, rant over) I hope that everything is well with both of you, and that it's just the holiday season that has slowed down the updates. I am really looking forward to reading more of this very entertaining story, whenever RL permits.

Sorry, but this story is horrid! First off 76+ chapters waaaay too long! Second why bring severus back only to kill him in the end? I hate that you made Harry bi I mean this "harry can't live without ginny or severus", please it gets too tiresome to read! Do fanfiction a favor and put this fic out of it's misery.

He should keep the baby, Ginny can just sod off. The fact is she wasn't his true mate, his soul mate. It was love yeah an infactuation maybe but their feelings, their ideas, and past was nothing like the one he shared with Snape.

PLEASE UPDATE ASAP! WE ARE DYING TO KNOW WHAT HARRY DOES! UPDATE, because we love this story so much!
