I come home from dinner, and low and behold, a new chatper! Yay!
I loved the bit with Harry and Severus. Severus is right, Harry does need to be careful of his actions, especially at the Ministry. It does make me a little sad that they can't be open, but the situation is what it is.
The bit with Lucius was chilling. What could he possibly want with Ginny and at the Daily Prophet office where there a lot of people. Obviously he wants a large group of witnesses for whatever he has planned. I can't wait for more of this plot to develop.

Okay, I'm a little miffed right now. I just read that comment (and then your response) about Ginny being "one dimensional". Is it possible this person hasn't read the entire story thoroughly? I mean, really... I can only name like three stories where the authors weren't Ginny bashing and she was both strong and wonderful. I love your Ginny and I despair to see what lies ahead, but I can't not read it!! This story has inspired me when my own writing abandoned me and cheered me when I was feeling like there just weren't any good stories out there. You have put so much time and effort into these characters that the feel very real. If she were one dimensional and "just what she didn't want to be" she wouldn't have her own job. But she's still her own woman and she still shows Harry that she won't take his shit when push comes to shove. Or is it that everyone thinks they have to have blow-out fights all the time to show character depth? I don't think so. I think you've done a lovely job just as it is.
That said...
Lucius, you nasty, naughty man!! I loathe you more than I did in the books. He's just wonderful, in a 'I'm a huge-non-literal-bastard' kind of way. He's simply and divine and I have absolutely no soft feelings for him... Which is quite unfortunate, because I quite like his wickedness when it's not being used to kill Harry and Snape.
Harry... could you be more careless?? This isn't just about you! Ginny, your son... SEVERUS (whom I love). They're all at risk, nimrod!
Sev (you don't mind that I call you that, right?), you are amazing. And bless you for being able to tell Harry what needed to be said. He needs to stop acting like a rash Gryffindor hero and be the man he's grown into.
I'm so worried about where this is going. What about the kids that haven't even been born yet? What about... what about... Does Snape die again?? You can tell just me. I won't tell anyone else, I sweat. You could email it to me... I'm a nervous reader (and movie watcher) and like to know these things. Really. My doctor says you should tell me tonight...
I can't wait for the next chapter and I'll be sure to keep checking daily until it's up. And then I'll read it straight through twice and comment and then re-read it all again, and not just the smutty parts either!! **grins sheepishly** Okay, I've got to go rescue my mother from my baby, so I'm out of here. Thank you again for all the time that you guys have dedicated to this story. With lives of your own, families and friends it's not easy. Writing something for the pleasure of yourselves and others when there is no gain outside of wonderful reviews can be tiring, but you've done an awesome job!!!

Sixty chapters already! It does not seem like we have been reading this story since last December. The aniversary is only a couple of months away, we should do something special. The story has evolved incredibly over time, characters have matured -well, not Harry- and our little motley family has grown; it has been quite the fun ride.
How great to have Lucius in the story again, he is awesome; the man really makes evil look good. I have the feeling his sidekick is noing to mess up, he does not seem too smart.
How old is the baby now in the story?

Ch42 I like the Snarry plotline. I like how the relationship between them has evolved naturally. I am *concerned* about the "cheating" aspect of it... (Yes, I am aware that I am reviewing something posted a long way back and will most likely be resolved well before I get to the most recent chaps... but you wanted reviews...) As a bi-poly person, it always irks me when people a) put their sexuality into little boxes (Yay for Sev's comment of 'you aren't gay or straight or bi, you're Harry); and b) ignore common courtesy and honesty thinking that that will make things ok... (I do think that if Harry talked to Ginny first, and actually explained his emotions, he'd have a much better chance at keeping both relationships... but I don't know what will happen...) anyway, back to reading the fic....

Ch 52. Good smut scene. But I'm still waiting for them to own up and be honest about what is going on. The longer they wait, and the more they do while waiting, the less likely it is that Ginny will be okay with any of it. If Harry had talked to her first, there was a chance that her response would be "we need a bigger bed" now it's more likely to be "we'll see you in court (or the wizarding world equivalent)." -_-;

Ch60 well, good for Sev to be getting out of the house and doing things on his own. maybe he'll get the self-respect... Sorry, watched "Torch Song Trilogy" last night. It's big on self-respect and being true to the person that you are. I highly reccommend it to everyone. Harvey Fierstein's character, 'Arnold Beckoff, aka Virgina Hamm' is the best gay male character I know, in so many ways. I love Ginny, and you have done an excellent job of not bashing her character, but she is very one dimensional in this story. She started to have other dimensions when she fought with Harry over playing Quidditch (sp?) but after the baby, she has become exactly what she didn't want to be, at least in the story. She is there because Harry wants the "normal" family, because he is unwilling to talk to his wife, because he wants to keep James, not for herself. To me, anyway, it is significant that he is going to her bed and thinking of Sev. And he still refuses to be honest with her. (sorry for the rant, this is just a pet peeve of mine.) I totally and completely get that Harry doesn't want to choose. However, by lying to Ginny, he is in effect choosing. I don't know where you are planning to take this story, but my relationship-dar says that Sev is going to either move out or otherwise insist on some kind of acknowledgement and/or someone at work is going to out them, and Harry is going to 'choose' trying to keep Ginny because of James, and Ginny is gonna tell him to "sod off" and Harry will end up loosing both of them because of his lack of honesty. It makes me sad and scared for them... Oh, and could you please add me to the update list?

Love the note on Chap 31 "seven books to write 'Voldemort was beaten. Harry lived'" *LOL* Also, this is a fantastic story, and I love the long development.

Um, hello... What was Ginny going to say??
Real life came crashing down around my head in the form of six BIG projects falling in my lap all at once. That is, in my belief, one of the few excuses allowed for not having kept up on the story. Now I'm lying in bed sick as hell and finally have a moment of peace to myself. I'm filling it with your delectable Snarry... **wipes drool from chin** Seeing as I've gone writing hiatus, I've got even more time to kill now. And who knows, maybe you'll inspire me.
This story is wonderful. Your are awesome and thank you for the dedications. I don't know if I said that before, but means a lot that you take the time to read and respond to your reviewers. It's not easy, either.
May I also say, I would love it someone would make this into a movie **hint hint** That would be awesome.
Now I'm off to hack up half my lung and then perhaps start reading this from the beginning again!

Whew! I finally caught up.
Wow. While it would be pretty neat if Ginny could agree to a 'threesome' as it were, I can't see her being calm about any such suggestions. She's not a redhead for nothing and fully earned her reputation for swift retaliation at school. Poor Harry is just swimming in angst of his own making, unable to stop or resolve his dilemma. How delicious!
My angst cravings are feeling quite sated. Thank you.
