You know this is really sad and raw but my mind is so twisted that even such a heart wrenching scene could not keep ' father figure' from playing in my head. I even had a little video going on there. Can you imagine Severus in jeans and a leather jacket? Ok, no more listening to George Michael for a while.
Seriously, I don

Aw jeez. That was just too sad. I hate it when men cry, and then to have Ginny give Harry comfort with her words was too melancholic. I wonder what she would think about Harry's grief if she knew what Severus had been to Harry, and what Harry would say to her to explain.
Good job on the chapter. I can't wait for more.

Oh good this is depressing, I ran out of tissues. :-)
I love a good story that moves you to tears. I can't wait for the next one. And I'll make sure I have more tissues with me.

I'm sure that most of us have lost someone and understand how that empty space aches contantly. Time does ease the pain, but it never fully leaves. Poor Harry & Ginny, they both love and will miss Severus. As heartrending as it may be, his absence could be the best thing for the longevity of H&G's marriage.
But....are you really going to end a Snarry as a pure HET fic??? *sniffle*

Honestly, I think you're both being too sensitive. This story has gone on for 70+ chapters, with you both swearing that it's going to be a Harry/Snape only story but adding in pretty much every possible twist and turn you could think of to keep it from happening (whether realistic or not because soap operas can be realistic even if a bit dramatic). Sorry to say, but that often happens in soap operas, so where my reference comes from. You can't blame me. Believe me, I doubt I'm the only one wondering where this story is going, especially in the last few chapters. And I put an emphasis on the wondering, because that's what my review was.
You say no offense, but I'm pretty sure you did intend offense. Honestly I think author's these days need to learn to handle the criticism that is less than positive and just by your reaction to any reviews that question where there story is going, rightfully so, it makes me think you two can't. And it's sad, because your combined writing is actually quite nice, you just need to stop taking such offense to things.
