I REALLY enjoyed this story - you have such a way with with words - some of the lovely simles you used had me howling with laughter, and I like that you made Sev physically unappealing, but that Harry wanted him for who he was, not because underneath his robes he was studly! I'd like to read more about this version of Harry and Severus. SP

*bangs head*
Is everyone around Harry deluded to the point that they actually believe he is in love with Ginny? He's miserable, he doesn't offer any imput in the wedding, he doesn't care about anything about the wedding or getting married, or having conjugal vists with his future wife.
He's depressed about getting married, and no body wants to see it.
Not even Hermione. She wants him to be married to Ginny, she doesn't listen to his complaints.
Cold feet happens, right before getting married, and before that being sure of yourself.
This, this is a crisis happening.
He's trying cope with the fact that he's gay, and all his childish wants for a family will be gone, but he's trying to hold on to that family ideal so he forces himself to go along with getting married.
And where the hell is the marriage consuling?
Even a bible thumper can see that these two people don't belong together.
And Ginny, don't even get me started on her. I never once liked her as mate to Harry, they don't fit together. He doesn't care about her anymore than a sibling. He forces himself to have feelings for her (canon talk here). And really, how doesn't brewing the most powerful love potion, suddenly bring faint memories of the burrow's flowers, lead to more than what six months later, him getting jealousy over her, again, dating other guys than him? I wouldn't put it past her to dope him up.
And here she goes again, never looking at him, truly looking at him and seeing that something is wrong. Never asking why he left, never asking him why he returned, never asking him if getting married is the right thing to do with so much time having gone past. Never caring about his needs. Never thinking about how uncomfortable with sex he is.
She plainly doesn't care for Harry, not the real Harry. She cares for her ideal Harry and doesn't see that there is a difference from her ideal and reality.
If Harry gets married to Ginny, it will kill him, maybe not literally, but figurtively it will. He will slowly deaden himself, when he finds out that no this did not make him happy and no he can't get out of it because it will hurt everyone else involved and he can't do that. It will slowly kill him, and no one will see it, and if anyone does they will only think its because of the war and that time will heal his wounds, they won't see that it's the marriage and his wife, that's killing him.
Snape better rescue Harry, before it's too late.
Is this going to be one of those barging into the middle of the ceremony, 'Stop the wedding he can't marry her,' type of things?
I wonder how big a top Ginny will blow. I wonder how it will play out, and how many people will let Harry go.
Can't they see he's unhappy because of her. And because he's in love with someone else.
Love it.
