Yay! Finally he's opening up and letting her in... now they just need to do some more snogging.... pretty please??

So I saw your name and went "OMG Ms_Figg! Must read!" and I did. All of this story in one little sitting. It is quite amazing, as are all of your works, and I enjoied it greatly.

I can't wait to see what Severus does to try and win Hermione over and what will happen with Ron and his attempts to improve his sexual proweress. I'm also excited to watch him squirm when the prostitute startes appearing at random around him >D.

And while he is doing well and I see the need for him to be an actual threat in this story, I so don't want him to be! I've never been a Ron fan, seeing him as you portray him: young, horny, slow, and self-absorbed. Severus and Hermione are the only Harry Potter coupling that I read continuously and I've been shipping them since Snape was introduced in the books.

I must say that I love how you keep him ugly. Too many authors use lines like "ivory skin" and "hair that was incredibly soft and shiny" instead of greasy and lank looking. And his nose never seems to be as obstructive as you make it, such as how you have it be the only visible part of him at times. I love that. And his scars, oh his scars. Hell, just his body in general, none of that magical muscle that is mysterially hidden beneath his dress robes, you keep him lean just like he was in the books. I also love his spontanious rages that he flies into. It's so incredibly believable. I hate it when all of a sudden Snape is a loving, kind, and gentle man who wants nothing more that to comfort a crying Hermione. You keep him angry and manipulative and snarky and awkard and everything that he is suppossed to be.

In the same vein, I love that Hermione doesn't have gorgeous hair and the perfect figure and all that annoying jazz. She isn't perfect, and you don't try to make her so. Her hair is still slightly bushy and the most that is said about her body is that she has curves. No "tight tummy" or "perfect breasts" or anything like that. And her ass is jiggily. Thank you. When her and Severus were fucking, it was so nice to read that you made her jiggle like a normal woman does. And Snape appriciated that fully.

I also love how you describe the sex positions. It's so detailed that I can get a clear image in my mind and aren't confused when the couple is randomly in a different position even though they never moved. And it was kinky sex too. But not too kinky, though I did like the reference to Snape haveing given "golden showers" before XD. But him holding her down and her scratching him was just the perfect amount of kink. That and the dirty talk, it is such a thing that Snape would do and I love that you included it in your story.

I'm kinda hoping that Hermione will at some point want to repay Severus for showing her such a good time and will give him a night all to himself where she just does whatever she can to blow his mind. And cock, that too. I just desperatly hope that these two will be together in the end, if this story ever does reach one, though I'm sure it will eventually.

I hope to read more updates over the Christmases of the years.

Im so glad you finally gave Severus some emotions! Now if only he would open himself up, even alittle, to let Hermione in. Hopefully something will happen during their little trip, an accicdent maybe? Nothing pushes forward those emotions more than if the one you want is in dire peril. We will see. ^-^

He has emotions, but only harsh ones he uses to protect himself and keep everyone else out. Love, trust, kindness are all alien to him in a way. He doesn't want to indulge in anything that makes him vulnerable. Lily hurt him once and he feels once was enough. It's almost like a dog that's been beaten too much, shies away and snarls at a gentle hand that seeks to sooth him. That's this Snape, but he starts out snarling first, not even giving the hand a chance to approach him. He wants the hand, but without giving anything in return. We'll see how this goes.

I apologize, I hadnt ment he doesnt show any emotion. But now we are able to see more humane ones. His insecurity and the seemingly deep sense of self doubt makes his character that much easier to connect with. Again I look forward to seeing how much more this develops, and Im sorry if I had worded it as though he had nothing within.

Poor Severus! He's going to have to up his gameplan before Hermione says yes to Ron in a cloud of fluff and chocolates!!
