I have to admit I didn't like this fic, overdone. But the ending redeemed it, very well done

I guess i am a bit confused. What killed him? that should be explained more i think.
otherwise i rather liked this fic. Can't wait to read what else you have planned.

Well, Draco died in the end, which is okay if little underwhelming. Some more suffering on his part would have been nice. Personally, the more gruesome and painful Draco's (or any rapist's) death, the better as far as I'm concerned.
Humanizing him at the end there and having Hermione forgive him wasn't my cup of tea. Just because his mother cries over him is no reason for his rape victim to suddenly decide he was human. This takes place a scant two days, TWO DAYS, after she was raped. Hardly enough time for her to even consider forgiveness. Frankly, I'm surprised she even attended. One would think she'd be in the hospital wing or her dorm room, rather than attending HIS memorial. I can't see the rest of the trio there lamenting his passing either, unless attendance was compulsory. Even then, I'm sure Hermione would have been excused.
And forgiving Draco because his accidental, oath-driven, suicide prevented Dumbledore's death is crazy; two wrongs do NOT make a right. Draco not being able to facilitate an attack on the school and headmaster, simply because he had an accident while perpetrating a rape, is not grounds for forgiveness. It's a reason to resurrect him so he can be tortured for a few hours, then killed again.
Don't get me wrong though, you stepped up to the plate and (sort of) punished Malfoy, which is something most authors here (and elsewhere) rarely do. So, umm, kudos for that.

that was intense. i love this two-shot. i must admit that i was disgusted with draco. i couldn't believe what he did, but you made it... not understandable... (i guess i'm not coming up with the right word...) anyways, i think that it was a good thing that you redeemed draco's character in the end. it just made it more real for me.
