I don't get it. Harry supposedly loves Hermione more than anything else in the world, even more than the Weasleys. So why can he hurt her when he can't hurt the Weasleys? It doesn't make sense to me.
Other than that little thing, I think your story is pretty good.

Excellent! You're doing an excellent job in portraying the turmoil that Ron is experiencing, moving him between hurt, anger and compassion. I can't wait to read more!
