Ch. 24 I guessed from the way Harry carefully avoided saying Voldemort's name that Hermione has avoided telling her parents a great deal about what she used to do at Hogwarts. It seems they're rather ignorant about the role Draco played in her life, too. Considering that Draco used to despise Muggles and called her a Mudblood, that's rather astonishing. Hermione must have a great deal of fortitude to deal with such a racial slur without burdening her parents with it.

All in all, things went rather well, though. The tension of the whole scene, Draco's unease, the confusion of Hermione's parents and Hermione's own staunch defense of Harry were very well handled. I could visualize the scene where she threatens Draco and manages to scare him into speechlessness.

Love this! Chapter 24 please!

Ch. 23 I'm glad Harry isn't overlooking the darker aspects of getting that scar. That was a crazy thing to do and it's clear Draco's emotions still aren't under his control. I've got an uneasy feeling about that upcoming meeting with Hermione. At this point, anything might set Draco off. Let's not forget that Greyback is still out there, too. This would be the perfect moment for an attack. Let's just hope that Hermione's home is as well defended as Harry's.

Holy fdksj;'els;g that was so intense! I had missed the last few and got to catch up before work and as a treat after work to look forward to. Good, good, good, that is all I can tell you, that and I can't wait for more, but take your time and do it right, this is one of those that gets burned to disk!
