Ch. 23 In spite of how Harry tries to console Draco, I have to admit that Richard has a point. He's not insane, just insanely motivated. As Harry said, if he were truly mad, he would have had traitors among his band just as Voldemort had traitors among his. But Draco did something terrible to that boy without a command or specific orders. I believe Nietzsche once said, "Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And when you look into the abyss, the abyss also looks into you." If and when Draco ever wins free of the maze, he's going to have a tough time defending himself before the Ministry.

Is this going to be a tragedy?
Not that I'm adverse to them, but after everything, I'd hate to see them suffering more. I don't know what to expect; I'm just along for the ride, hoping that whatever happens, at least one of them comes out happy. The middle of the maze is slowly creeping in, and I wonder what we will find there along with Harry and Draco. Everything seems to be twisting high in tension again as they haven't run into anything painful for a while, but I don't envy them.
Seeing the truth of things is difficult for both of them, I'm sure. Harry's back and forth on what he wants is heart wrenching as well as noble, but I hope that he figures it out soon. Even if they make it out, I can't see Draco letting him go easily. Whatever courage he lacked before, I think he's gained in some way with his time with Harry. I wonder what makes Harry see? The time progression couldn't have them in love already, but I think they both are bordering on feeling quite a bit for one another. I'm excited to see how it all plays out. :)Another excellent chapter. Thanks for sharing.

What an excellent way to include Sirius and the Veil. I was wondering if it would come along at some point. I like Harry's little revelations through out the chapters. Each one builds on the last, even when they contradict one another, and it's fabulous to read. Will they find out how long they were down there by the end? I can imagine that the days are really flooding together the way they are moving around in there. I absolutely adore this story! :D It keeps me on my toes, and even in the horror they find something to comfort one another, or have one another. The struggle that Harry underwent with wanting to join Sirius was true to what we've seen from him in canon; it's that desire to have family and those he loves surrounding him. I love his comment to Draco about thinking of ways to hurt Richard and how handsome he looked. He didn't even think of it as being out of place for a change, at least not that you showed us, and I'm sure that was very intentional on your part. :P Can't wait for the next update. I've posted the link to the story on a few recommendation threads. :) I love this story.

Wow . .. how utterly disturbing .. some parts are really distgusting, you bring this horror direct in my room xD I think I never read such an amazing H.P horrorstory. You did a really good job on it I wonder how this will end, somehow I've a bad feeling, but I hope that Ron & Hermione are still alive. This one I think is one of your best stories so far in my opinion^^
