Wow, what a cliffie! That was a truly disturbing thought to have eaten someone that was helping him; I couldn't imagine that, and find myself truly sickened for the first time reading this, so, well done! LOL They have a very strange dynamic. Harry's truly kidding himself if he thinks that he's only kissing Draco for Draco's benefit. At least, I think, anyway. Stubborn to a T, though, so very in character for him in that regard. I feel horrible for Draco. So he definately has my sympathy from this. This Rochard guy isn't going to be much fun by the time they reach him, whatever form he's in, and I worry that they'll be stuck there. Or will Harry die - hell, is Draco already dead? Maybe he died before they could complete everything, and this is merely a cloned version of him as he was when he died. Now I have all kinds of crazy scenarios running through my head about what's going to happen next. I swear I check for updates at least twice a day. (I normally don't become that impatient with stores!) LOL Something in the severeity of this situation has me held absolutely captive, though, and I commend you for that. Actually, that's happened with most of your stories that I've been able to read.

As soon as Richard brought in that tray of food, I knew it was human flesh! I kept yelling at the screen for Draco not to eat it, but when Richard had some, I thought maybe I was wrong. I guess Richard is sick enough to do that though. I didn't realize Pearl had become like a friend to him, but I can definitely see that. How awful. So even if Draco had stuck to a higher moral code and not performed the experiments, he would have ended up being broth. I hope Hermione and Ron weren't fed to someone like that. I'm getting anxious about what their fate may be. Harry holding Draco is becoming more meaningful now, maybe because of the way their developing. It's kinda funny Draco seems to want to shag every opportunity he gets, I agree with Harry, that wouldn't be the wisest. But seriously Harry should do something with him before he sacrifices himself or whatever he's planning. OK, I'll go back and look for this phrase, it's really bugging me now...

hahaha I saw the broth part coming, but it was still horrifying to read. Whoa. that scene is going to stay with me for a while. Good job! I hang in suspense for what will hapeen next.

If Draco won't wake up soon I realy wouldn't want to be near the maze, because what if it doesn't mater what happens next?

oh my god! thats just so disgusting i can't belive richard actually made draco eat her! tho it reminds me of one story, only the kid ate his pet goat without knowing it...and not some girl **shudders**

Oh my. Where did the smoke plague come from?! I thought for sure Harry was done or...but then I thought yeah right. Poor Draco....he depends on Harry so much. I hope Harry comes to terms with their relationship because I think if Harry leaves Draco after getting out of the maze Draco will go insane. Nice update!

Ch. 24 Once again, another original chapter. That shadow was a scary, new threat. The idea of being devoured by shadow is even worse than being eaten alive. There are all sorts of things out there in the world that will eat people if they can. But being swallowed up until there's nothing left of you but a shade is horrifying on a primal level. I wonder if Harry would have faded into the darkness or turned into a ghost eternally trapped in the maze.

Once again, he's having trepidations over Draco's continuing closeness. But he's got valid reasons at keeping him at bay this time. If Draco becomes too dependent on him, what will happen when they finally get out of the maze or if Harry dies. They've made it through so far. But Harry's lost a foot and still hasn't found his friends. They have only one more obstacle to go. Yet they could still lose it all.

Sooo need chapter 25!!!

I love the whole ball of light idea, its very good! and I want them to stay together, even tho Harry's still freaked out about it...

Okay they got away but so much to ignoring things in the maze!
