I would just like to say that I read "Darkest Desires" on here first and after reading the author's notes in that story I had originally thought very badly of you. However I have a very poor memory and after reading so many other stories I did not remember the name or the Author's name that was talked about in her story. When I read your story I saw similarities but not out right idea theft. I wanted to apologize for my negative thoughts towards you and say that I don't think you should have been forced to discontinue this story while she was allowed to continue with hers. After having read BOTH stories I can see how some people might think that your idea to have Remus/Moony portrayed the way you do could have been stolen from someone else but the idea was not originally her own. Several years ago, around the time that the third Harry Potter book came out I read a book about Werewolves and Lycans, In it is mentions that many people believe that a Lycan is really two individuals trapped, cursed if you will, into the same body. One a "monster" and the other a human. I have seen this idea used many times since then and her story and yours were only one of several that I have seen like this. I beg of you to please continue writing this story because it has the potential to be an amazing story. If people have an issue with the fact that you had a similar thought to someone else then let them think it. They don't have to continue reading if they don't like it but personally the only thing I see in common between the two stories is the idea that a werewolf is two separate entities in the same body, and that isn't even the other author's original idea. It is a fact of nature that wolves will have one mate and so it stands to reason that a "wolf man" would as well. In fact I've always believe that even HUMANS have one person they are meant to be with and being part wolf would only enhance that fact. So please, please continue this story. I would put a note at the beginning of the story that states that any ideas or events that might appear similar to any other real or fictional events are in fact merely a coincidence as I'm now convinced this was.

Sincerely and with Best wishes,
LadyNaughtyFairie

Im very sad to see that because of the immaturities of others you where unwilling(and justly so) to finish this story.. I enjoyed it very much and would have loved to see all that stuff play out.. I hope that eventually the authors involved in the argument will get there act together and except that people have the same ideas sometimes .. and usually at seperate times.. its part of fandom.. but on the point of your story I loved how you did Remus.. he's a good character and you potrayed him well in my oppinion.. hopefully you wont have issues like this again.. have a good life and keep on writting!

Ok so here is my opinon on this matter. I have actually read the story Darkest Desire and it is in no way in like yours. Yes Moony decides that Hermione is his mate. But the difference in your story and the other persons story is that in your story Remus/Moony is trying to figure out how to deal with it and not taking advantage if Hermione because she's underage. The other story Moony takes Hermione without any consideration at all of how Remus feels. In fact in her story Remus blacks out and doesn't remember what happens between Moony and Hermione. Then I seen mentioned that it was a challenge am I correct?? If that's the case then you should be able to write what you want for the challenge. If people say stop copying other peoples work then everyone would have to stop writing time turner storys, Marriage Law stories ect. because they all sound the same. Hermoione goes back in time because her time turner was broken and while there she falls in love with either Sirius, Remus, or Severus. Hello those story have all be told before. and the Marriage Law she is always having to marry a cranky arogant asshole named Snape....Who likes to make her life a living hell only to realize he's in love with her....

There I've had my say. I say continue with your story LOL!!! It was getting good.

Aww, I really wish you would have finished it. Some people are horrible. I've read Dark Desires on another site and I don't think they had any right to accuse you the way they did. Anyway, you're story was great while it lasted. Keep up the good work :)!

It is sad to see that you are letting bullies disrupt your writing. I've read the other, but unfortunately have not read yours yet as I saw it was listed as discontinued. Truthfully, all fanfiction is plagarism if we get paid for it, and the idea of stealing a fanfic idea is really absurd as we all do it all the time. The trick is to be original with the idea and not just rewrite what the other author has. While her story is good, the idea that she owns the Remus/Moony personalities is absurd. Not to mention a rip off of Robert Louis Stevenson's Jekyll and Hyde (although, her story is distinct in that she uses the characters of JKR's Potter universe). She, therefore cannot claim that the idea of split personalities is unique to her story. However, if your "Moony" personality is the same as hers, than she can perhaps make that argument. But, please if you believe that your story is reasonably different do not let hyperactive fangirls and prima donnas prevent you from writing!
