THAT was a great ending to the chapter. It's a wonderful story. The only problem I have with it is your obsessiveness with reviews. I get that you're nervous but in all honesty it's annoying and MANY sites would have kicked you off for review whoring by now. Asking for reviews, critiques, ect is fine but drilling it into the ground or withholding chapters for reviews is in poor taste and rarely tolerated. At least you haven't done the latter.

If you're not confident enough in your work that you don't need constant reaffirmation you need to stop no matter how good a story it is.

Yet again, wonderful chapters that seize the reader's every ounce of attention and compel them to continue reading. Your language and voice is evolving all the while and becoming almost florid and ornate in nature. As a fan of Severus Snape I must say you know him very well. Your latest chapter makes it nearly impossible to wait for the next, but I assure you I will. I hope you realize that your readers are behind you one hundred percent of the way, regardless of whether they review or not. You will make a great novelist some day.
