She lifted the box gingerly and opened it to reveal a small, dead, fragile wreath of daisies. It was truly a beautiful testament of her father’s love for her. “Do you remember when we made that?”
“No, daddy.” She looked up at him with large eyes and he was briefly reminded of her as a baby looking up at him with that same sort of curiosity and wonder that she still possessed and applied to almost everything in life.
“We went online to see if anything had ever made it out of the magical world to ours, so we typed ‘muggles’ and found those books and a few stuffed dogs that someone had named Mr. Muggles.”

“I wanted to get you something that would remind you that we are on the same team, and that I am honoured to have had this opportunity to be by your side during this time.”
He pointed his wand at the wall and rendered it see through, and regretted it immediately.
He had fallen for the classic mindset that parents do not have sex, and found Mr. Granger doing just that with his wife on the other side of the wall. When he looked back at Hermione, the look of shock on her face was priceless...
He rolled his eyes. Women were odd creatures. No man’s mind would ever wander during sex unless it was bad, and a more experienced woman would never admit it to her man.

“He is gentle with you and attempts to hide the bite of his anger from you, despite the fact that he is irked by the many little immaturities you possess.” Hermione’s ego took a hit at that and she frowned as they reached the stairs. “You may be more mature than most people your age, but you are still so inexperienced.

“Haven’t you even suspected that he was falling in love with you?”
“You should always have a counter spell in mind for the curse you use!”

I found this story only recently, and wanted to tell you how much I've enjoyed it. I've agonized, laughed, gasped and cried all the way through. Surely, you have more coming? I'd love to see the fall of You-Know-Who and really want to see Hermione and Severus learn to trust each other. I like how he and the Grangers have become friends. (The one-way/see-through wall was funny!)
Best of luck with school and "your Snape" (lol), and I hope you come back to us with more. I had a feeling that Hermione would wind up carrying Snape's child. This kind of puts a different tint on things, huh?!

Great chapter. Harry and Ron really are gits! Well how surprised will they be when Hermione finds them and will she tell Ron that his mother's big toe was used in the process.(I nearly wet myself at that btw)
