Hi MND. Minerva is quite severe in this story. A sprightly 77 year old, prim and reserved for the most part. To me, her strongest trait is that she has the best interest of the Students of Hogwarts at heart. She is also a strict dispilinarian and not a person to be crossed. She is also capable of being overcome by feeling. Harry claimed in DH that McGonogall scream when she believed he was dead was one of the worst sounds he had ever heard.

Now, add to this the additional weight of being Headmistress, her continuing grief about Albus, her being a discipliarian, her care for the students and one who can be taken over by emotion, and in my estimation, Minerva certainly can become this Minerva, angry that Severus endangered students, angry that he apparently broke the rules of propriety, believing that he should be severely disciplined and voicing it in no uncertain terms.

We can't be sure she holds a grudge against Severus really or is making him a scapegoat, but that's what he and apparently Hermione believe. But we can at least entertain the idea that her righteous anger is based on her strong feelings about what is right and proper concerning the students, and wanting to know the truth of the matter for herself, and maybe the belief that as the Headmistress her word should be law, which it isn't. Everyone has to learn their job, and Minerva is no different. This isn't to say that later on, after she calms downs and considers everything, she won't come to terms with it and maybe even apologize for her reaction. But we don't know that either.

Basically, depending on the story, I just write them as I see them in the situation. For this story, this is Minerva.

Ble... thanks for the answer... but I still don't like it XD XD XD.... But it's ok, all the time I don't like things other love or think, and vice versa. Returning to minerva... I usually don't take in much consideration what rowling says about her own characters XD, but in Minerva

MND: JKR told us a lot after Book 7, such as Albus was gay, Minerva never had feelings for him, Ron worked both in the Joke Shop and was an Auror, but to me, that's all after the fact. I just do the books. lol. Actually, I always thought there was more between Albus and Minerva, and it just stuck with me. I kind of worked in the "Albus is gay" scenario, but didn't lose my love of the possibility that Minerva may have wanted something more. If you see Minerva and Snape as being similiar according to canon, then you have to see they both have the potential to be explosive and jump to conclusions, because that's Snape all the way in canon, though he wrests himself under control. Minerva's affection toward Snape would not protect him from her ire if he in some way jeopardized or "ruined" a student. Since she is in a higher position of authority, she would hold him accountable, chastise him, discipline him or even take legal action against him if warranted, and she made this clear, and in her way, investigated it, doing nothing behind his back. It was unpleasant to witness, but personally I could understand it. But then again, not everyone would. That's all I have to say about our beloved Minerva. I can't stand perfect tolerance. lol. Somebody has to act up. :)) It was Molly in A New Beginning, but she came around. ***

Agreed... just not in a histeric... unfair... childish kind of way... I said she and snape where similar... not the same... the difference is thar Minerva reacts, but cool off and think faster... than severus... Of course Minerva would give snape a loooooooooong speech about responsability and bla bla bla boring him to tears... but would have been private, not with the histeria XD. And I really don't think Minerva has the strange notion that her students are inocents doves... not after 39 years being a teacher... no even with her beloved hermione granger.

Why I feel I'm monopolizing conversation?... Sorry u_u... I

MND: Sorry to hear you're sick, I hope you get better. Don't worry about monopolizing anything. lol. I'm bored too. And I certainly don't mind discussing characters at all. I'm pretty sure they were in private except for Hermione being present and she was supposed to be. lol about Severus being bored by her lectures, maybe that's precisely why she'd try to put the fear of God in him, feeling he's faced so much she has to be extremely tough to get through to him. Not get a "whatever, Minerva" vibe, which I can definitely see him giving off. As far as her knowing students aren't innocent, she would probably try to keep them as innocent as possible and not shagging professors. lol. Well, I'm going to go drink a red bull and see if I can get enough oomh to write the next chappie which should be a nice hot lemon of epic proportions. lol. It has to be if Severus actually Binds with Hermione. He's going to need a LOT of impetus. :)))
