This was a terrific chapter again and I love your story.
Together they accomplished to kill her and it was rather spectacular. But when Snape decided to face death and the way he was walking into the sunlight with a sobbing Hermione at his side and the writhing of his body filled my eyes with tears

Quarter-Blooded Witch: Wouldn't it be wonderful to merge the "brainless yet breathless" men with the ones with minds? But then again, there's something really compelling about the "happy-fo-lucky" easy lover. Whoo! Anyway, I went to your profile and saw that you are interested in doing a bit of betaing. Girlfried, I need you! lol. If you have time that is. I'm not very good at writing other plot-bunnies. I think its just plain selfishness on my part, but I would like to submit completed stories to some moderated sites simply because it's so requested. It isn't vanity, I assure you. It's more of being flattered that other people want me to share these stories in other forums. Unfortunately, the rules of "writing papers" doesn't apply to writing stories, so what I deem acceptable doesn't always meet the standards. Sigh. Making the Dean's List long ago and far away doesn't help a bit here. If you aren't busy and want to do a bit of betaing for me, please email me at truthsolomon@yahoo.com. This is actually an invitation to others who feel like tackling the dragon that's my writing and have a little backgound at it. I think I have over 60 stories that could use a bit of peppering up and I'd appreciate any help in this area. Of course I'd give the proper props. Thanks ya'll.

MysticF: Yes, he is a Slytherin, but he's also a proud man. True, Slytherins do take advantage of situations as long as it is of some benefit. But Snape feels that the life of a bloodsucker is not for him. He is a disciplined man who doesn't want to be ruled by his hunger for blood, or live off the lives of others. He's seen enough death. Yes, there would be those who would willingly provide sustanence for him, but he just doesn't want that 'kindness.' He wants to live as a man, not as a fiend. And despite how others might look at it, he would always feel like some kind of parasite, living off the Life of others. No, that's not for Snape. He'd rather pass on with dignity. At least in my estimation.
