Is there any couple that you cannot successfully write? I'm a huge fan of the Remus/Hermione ship and I was excastic to find out that one of my favorite authors had written a story on them. I will admit I wasn't a big fan of his woe is me attitude (Props to Hermione for ripping him a new one) but overall I loved the story.
Bit of a PS, you mentioned you'd have a book published this year, I was curious as to what title and plot would be, as well as your name. I would definetly love to read it.

Oi Missus! Get to the back of the queue for the 'pets'! I most certainly am the holder of Lucius's leash! Why do you need all three? Can't you just be happy with one of them? Isn't Snape enough for you?! *prepares to argue case for keeping Lucius chained to my headboard*. (lol)
And on a more serious note: This was brilliant (chapter 1), I like your Remus, I can FEEL the sexual tension wafting off the screen in front of me! I'd never thought of Remus as alpha, he's so calm and controlled - but perhaps that control stems from being alpha in the first place? I can understand exactly what you're trying to get across with the first chapter!
Though, his words have me puzzled - with the 'lover of men' comment especially. If Remus is reluctant to let himself go in passion, does that mean he NEVER has, and is therefore a virgin? (just puzzled)

Chappie 2
The knotting is a common thing with canines. Foxes are the most amusing (David Attenborough got some good stuff!) the female foxes don't tend to approve of their male being attached to them for a long period of time; and they try to carry on with their business. Attenborough got footage of a mated pair fighting over some foraged scraps, while he was still inside her!
Hermione's reaction to Lupin's words was well written, but Lupin (almost bloody wrote Lucius then!) realising she was ashamed of being a woman and having baser urges was FANTASTIC; he knows her insecurities and doesn't want them to be a problem. Hermione had better stay clear of paperback romance novels! Andy loves it when I read one... he can monopolise the literature fantasy while its still in my head! He has his moments when he's a clever cookie!
The ring exchange was cute, but I wonder where/who the rings came from! Hermione's is so ornate and expensive that I doubt Remus could afford it! And his was of really heavy gold, something Hermione probably wouldn't have been able to buy either! *ponders*

I loved reading your alternate universe story. It was very well writen. Your plotting was excellent. I liked that Remus, Fred, Serius, and many other great characters survive in your fictional universe!
