Oh you horrid, HORRID woman!!! You and your blasted cliffhangers!!! *weeps for Sev* Poor Sev! Poor Harry! Poor us readers victim to your cruel ways!!!

Seriously....I had tears in my eyes over the killing (again!) of Severus Snape. Your description of Nagini's bite to Severus's throat was much more graphic than the canon version. Nagini bites Severus in canon, in your story she tears a chunk out of his throat and it's all the more devastating. *sniff*

As always, your writing is very evocative; the last line in particular, which made me picture the scene in the fim version of GOF, in the graveyard, of Harry behind the tombstone as Voldemort calls him out to die...and the look of strength, bravery, and grim determination on Harry's face...that coupled with the scene in DH in the Great Hall, the final confrontation, when Harry addresses Voldemort by his given name. Again, your great knack of weaving canon and your own original work so seamlessly comes through here especially.

And then...the "point to ponder" part.....Nagini...just exactly where IS she anyway? Hmmmmmm.....


Please, I beg of you, Mist.......*ahem*.....Erm......Update immediately, Wretched Woman! Or suffer the consequences!!! Grrr!

I must applaud you on the way you've taken the canon story and meshed it in with your own original work. Very clever and intriguing; just when you're going along to canon and I think I know where you're headed, you veer off the beaten path seamlessly and I find myself avidly devouring your original work. Just when I think I've seen the light as to where that will lead, I realise I'm back in the canon story. The "key point" here is "seamlessly", and that's the beauty of it. You've woven it all together into one smooth and silky story that is rich in detail, subtle hints and clues, and is a luxury to read.

And that, IS magic.

Alright, YOU!!!! I've been sitting here all day trying to suss out this chuffin' riddle!!! A RIDDLE!!! For the love of God woman, haven't you tortured us ENOUGH?!?!?
