Again nice, evocative writing with Hermione slipping in the blood, mistaking Sev for a pile of gore and blood. Very ewww, but very good. I like it that Harry would choose death with Sev over life without him....or will he? Hurry up, Oh Evil One, and let us know!!

Well.....erm....."Sweet Puppy"....at the risk of sounding like I'm just tagging along after you in sycophantic awe.....
This chapter made me cry.....I don't know who to feel sorrier for, Severus or Harry. The ending to this chapter was bittersweet and moving, well written. I don't want this story to end, I'm afraid of what may be coming next, but at the same time, can't wait to see what you do with the story and how you write it.
