This is good, I like it so far. But there's one inconsistency that I've noticed and that's that you keep saying how Hermione wants to talk to Dumbledore about things, but you said he was dead in the first chapter, but you keep referring to him as though he were still headmaster. Anyway, it was just a little confusing. I can't wait to see where you take this, and I hope to read more soon!

also, about dumbledoor. I'm pretty sure she means talk to his portrait, which is the portrait for her common room. right?
