That was such a funny chapter. Sirius really got told off good. Poor guy the thought of him not being able to do "anythnig" ha that was so good love it! keep it up

Sorry I missed a few chapters, ccino. Been a little busy. Severus with the body stocking was amusing. You tend to embarrass that poor man a lot. And that's a hungry lot, isn't it? Jeez. Eating all her lovely food up. I loved Charlie, Remus, and Sirius attempting to ask Kathy to the ball, and the look that Sirius gave Severus. "He's just too stupid to do anything about it." *growl* Talking bad about my poor Remy. And Severus watching Kathy eat was funny. ^.^ Hmm, the Malfoys...and then Dolohov suggesting a threesome. Death Eaters........

A bit nervous? Lol. I love the bickering between Dumbledore and Severus. It's cute. And then Severus's "woman." He asked! Yay!! Heh....good chapter. I was starting to think we wouldn't get one today. :-(

Yea Severus asked her I could not see Kathy with anyone else well mabe Charlie there are no good Charlie and ofc storys out there. Anyway. So glad she said yes like she would have said no that would have been just wrong. I do love you story!

Hey Ccino, pluto_rising here, new name on my login - same silly reviewer. SO! I check out your new story and there's already 20-something chapters. Aaaaaaand we're off on another rollicking good Ccino adventure. I always forget how fast you update. You're the Speedy Gonzales of AFF. And bless you for that - I really got into the story with all that being posted already.
Snape is, of course, Snape-ish to the core and sexy as hell but he's obviously a sucker for Kathy's cooking. I remember another story of yours where he was a sucker for a woman's cooking. You know, I'll bet ol' Rickman probably is too. I just don't see him as domesticated in any way. More of a take-out man, really. Kathy's great, so old-fashioned but such a sweet soul. It will be hard for her when she finds out exactly who her childhood buddy Tomtom has become. Both of them must have been so lonely in their own ways, and Severus is a bit of a lonely Gus too. Strange bedfellows.
As always, your imagination is tremendous. I love her leeching power and how it manifests. I feel bad for the Hippogriff but the ability itself is fascinating. And she's never seen a black person before Kingsley - that was hilarious. Pre-tv and living an insular life in the 40's/50's that's not all that far-fetched. I grew up in Massachusetts in the 60's and there were no black people in my town at all. The first black family moved in at some point in the early 70's. Anyway, I think your touches of period detail with her personality and back in the orphanage scenes were great.
I must say though that unlike most of your reviewers, I feel sorry for Sirius. I know he treated Our Severus like crap but it was so long ago. The man spent 12 years in Azkaban and has such a terrible time of it, hiding away in Grimmauld Place, never getting out and about. As a formerly successful ladies man, I can hardly blame Sirius for taking a chance on sweet Kathy. He didn't realize she was a 50's kind of girl. I'd love to see him hook up with some sweet young thing. Surely the Order has someone he could.... umm... impress, no?
It's lovely that Remus reminds her of her late husband. Oh my god, killing Kathy's husband and kids off like that - you are ruthless! Still, so is JKR so I guess it's a writer's thing. Besides, how could she be a great love interest for Our Severus if she were married and had two kids. It also adds that touch of sorrow and - hopefully - anger she'll need later on. She was certainly freaked out enough by Severus coming back from Voldemort's - she even thought Albus was a retired Death Eater - LMAO!
Anyway - I've rambled on long enough. It's fabulous to see you back in Severus' saddle again, erm.. so to speak. I look forward to the rest of the story unfolding in your usual, delicious style.
p.s. What are butterfly buns? Presumably they are not made from actual butterflies, so regular butter must be involved. It's just a new term and I'm interested. I confess, I do a bit of baking.
