nice bit of filler information in chapter 2. snape didn't scare her off and we learn that she still enjoyed the other subjects but is drawn to potions. its nice to know that her parents are still alive and that she still feels connected to her muggle side. good chapter.

Oh, I spoke too soon! They are gone...poor Hermione. What is this, a softer side of our snarky professor? I think that this scene has Hermione seeing her teacher in a different light and this might be the beginning of something?? maybe, lol.

I love a speechless snape...its nice to see hermione put him in his place once in awhile...great chapter...i like to see him rocked off his boat once in awhile. he needs to know that not everyone is afraid of him.

oh...poor snape is eaten up with guilt! i love their verbal sparring. they are both so good at it! is he going to get some dirt from where the root was grown to help ease the pain on her hand? why was snape so upset about the bastard comment?

I love you story! I didn't expected that Severus will wash her hair. I thougth that he will cast a spellon her to tidy her hair. It is so sexy to wash the hair of samebody else.

This was an excellent chapter. I hope that Severus and Hermione continue to get closer, even though she just set him on fire. I hope that he isn't too upset with her because of it. He shouldn't have gotten that intimate with her knowing that her hands were likely to move and touch. I can't wait to read more. Please update again soon.
