I created a slash version of this story with other characters. But my publisher told me it was too depressing for her readers. She wanted a happy ending and, since I was being paid by her, I had to acquiesce. But it's wonderful to see another version that doesn't flinch away from the original story. Thanks for giving us this.

that was SO BLOODY MEAN. I CRIED!!!!! could you write a sequel, like the barrier transports him to another realm and years after fighting to get out he returns to the elven world as an elf, then visits Harry,, who is depressed and misses him, a bit of trouble, then happy ever after? PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is so depressing.. yet so right. Thank you for not departing from the original plot point. Though kinda disappointing, it gives the original story a bit of a new kick for me. Thanks for that.
