Surely if that timid knock has come from the fist of Miss Granger, wouldn't Severus have noticed her following him down the corridors and stairs to his room? He'd only been in the room a moment, surely long enough for her to not have been very far behind. Hopefully, however, it is her. One can only hope. Please publish more soon.

Interesting start, though it has potential to be cliche & hackneyed. I like it so far because you've done a good job with setting it up. Now don't take it down the path that everyone else who does this scenario does. Make it interesting. I look forward to reading more. I hope you shall not disappoint. :)
