Until next month my hubby is just a lowly E3 (he would be an E5 by now but he pissed off his chief). I know what you mean about most officer's wives. When my aunt started out as one she was nice and didn't get along with the others because they were petty and clique-y, but over the last few years she's become a terribly stuck up snob. Unfortunately it's not just officer's wives here. Here the enlisted's wives can be down right bitchy they like to come on to each other's husbands and talk trash about each other. I know that a lot of military wives are unhappy but way too many act like we're back in high school. I'm sorry, I turned your review into a rant.... Love ya!

I don't mind the postponed smut. I quite enjoy the romancing and suggestive banter. I just love Draco calling Hermione "Mummy". Lucius being insecure about his age and Draco's relationship to Hermione was wonderfully human too.

To me we are military wives, never did give a hoot about rank ever! Dommie, I get that when Hubby joined he was a lowly private. It scary thing to watch some of the wives. Sometimes it is like watching a bad 80's high school flick that doesn't end. I guess what makes me sad is to see how they go out of their way to hurt one another. Personal I'd rather bond and stand together cuz frankly this job "military wife" is the worst job in the world. It is an honor in so many ways but most days and nights I'd just rather he be here.
